What else can you wear after putting on deodorant on your armpits to stop them from perspiring?

I always have worn the same deodorant (Secret)...and it works, but I don't know if it's the weather or the type of shirt/blouse I'm wearing or what but sometimes one or both my armpits perspire after putting on deodorant. rarely but when it happens it's so annoying and I want to know what else I can put on when that happens...please help! i've heard to try to scrup a slice of lime on there but that sounds nasty...any suggestions?

What else can you wear after putting on deodorant on your armpits to stop them from perspiring?
Try Teen Spirit I had the same problem but once I used a deodorant made for teens well... problem resolved!!!

There is also a roll on called Certain Dri that treats excessive perspiration. You apply it at bedtime %26amp; don't apply right after shaving (it HURTS!!). You can buy it at Walgreens, CVS,Walmart. It is Dr. recommended.
Reply:Yes, Liquid Anti-perspirant would really work. Report It

Reply:I am so glad that you asked this question. I have the exact same problem as you and it is embarrassing! I've tried everything and nothing seems to work! You are getting great advice %26amp; I can't wait to try it out :)
Reply:SPEAK TO YOUR DERMATOLIGIST CAUSE A FRIEND OF MINE IN HIGH SCOOL GOT THIS LITTLE BOTTLE OF LIQUID I CAN NOT REMEMBER WHAT IT WAS BUT SHE HAD TO PUT A LIGHT COAT ON LET THAT DRY AND THEN PUT ON DEODORANT AND THAT STOPPED WHAT WE CALLED PITTING. IF I STILL HAD A PHONE NUMBER FOR HER I SURE WOULD CALL HER BUT I AM SORRY SO JUST ASKE THE DERM IT WAS A LITTLE CLEAR BOTTLE.
Reply:Clothes that breath, like cotton, don't use those vinyl imitations besides tastless they sure make you sweat!
Reply:You say your deodorant works but it sounds like it does not contain an antiperspirant. Try a different brand. Or sprinkle a Little baby powder on after the deodorant.
Reply:I use Mitchum brand deoderant/antipersperant. it's the only brand that has ever worked fully for me. I'm going to let you in on a secret, most people are going to gross out, but whatever. I usually don't shower often, about every other day or every 2 days. I don't sweat or stink between showers. The stuff works. Trust me. They now make a women's brand of it too, but I use the men's unscented one.

Girls, what is the best and most effective deodorant?

I cannot seem to find a good deodorant that doesn't get on my clothes and prevents odor all day. I even use men's deodorant. Please advise. Thanks so much.

Girls, what is the best and most effective deodorant?
I have the same problem so does my sister. We have both found that it's not so much what kind of deodorant you use but how long you use it, what I mean is try switching brands every 5 to 10 days and just alternate them. I have about 6 or 7 kinds and thats what works for us. I dont know why but its like your body builds an immunity to them kind of like medicine...Try it I'm sure it will work for you also
Reply:Almay unscented gel. No sweat, no odor, no marks on clothes. A little goes a long way, too, so it lasts a long time.
Reply:secret baby powder scent
Reply:I know I'm a guy, but the sad truth of the matter is that what might work for some people may not do anything for you. I think you are on your own here. For my wife, she has deodorants for occasions. The one that works the best she uses daily, but there's no need for her to worry about leaving marks on her work clothes (she wears scrubs) so it's not a "clear" deodorant. If we are going out and she's wearing something that it will matter, then she'll change up. Not sure if that helps... sometimes two is better than one.
Reply:try degree it works for me or use a good antibacterial soap then a clear deodorant.
Reply:def sure!

try mithalin... or ask your doctor to inject ur arm pit to stop it sweating.. this is proven to be very effective
Reply:I like degree
Reply:You can't go wrong with Secret. It's strong enough for a man, but made for a woman. But, make sure you wash your arm pits first, that's a big help 8D
Reply:I'm in England n use Amplex roll on - no marks, no mess and it's cheap to boot!!
Reply:secret baby powder brand ... the best.
Reply:Secret Platinum.
Reply:Mitchum for woman. It is natural and it keeps you very dry!
Reply:I really really really recommend Dove antiperspirant moisture stick... its a cream based dry stick, not like a wet roll on. Really nice, smells not over the top, and keeps you smelling fresh, even the next morning.

Yes, the injection in the armpit works too, its common in Japan and Korea. Little like botox.
Reply:i like ladys speed stick
Reply:I don't know of the best, but I would say that Dove is the worst. It may smell good, but it does virtually nothing for wetness. I very rarely sweat other than in 90 degree heat %26amp; when that happened Dove didn't work at all. Degree isn't much better. I always liked Sure....
Reply:nivea
Reply:try nivea products.. no odor at all...
Reply:secret sparkle and ban.. it works all day for me.

But if that don't work then I'm not sure take a

shower in the morning or maybe Carrie one around with you

and then attend the bathroom and apply when needed. Hope

i was a help babe =]
Reply:secret works really good and i use the secret sparkle....ban works really good too...the cheap brands don't smell as good and work as good as the better ones

What's the Deal with Deodorant Crystals?

II met a Woman who tells me she does not use deodorant or an antipersperant.

She uses a Crystal.

Its like a rock that you RUB in your arm pits and then it is supposed to stop you from smelling.

It just does not make sense to me.

Can someone please explain how they work?

If they work.

I did not get a chance to get close enough to her to see if she smelled like B.O.

What's the Deal with Deodorant Crystals?
Deodorant crystals do work. I have used!! I used TOMS OF MAINE now it is a natural deodorant. I hope putting the name here is not a violation. I never know what is or is nt a violation..The answer to your question it works wonderfully---But i prefer Deodorants that are natural...
Reply:Hi. Crystal meth might work but that's only because she speeds away so quickly. You did not get a chance to get close. See!

Why does my cat like mens cologne and deodorant?

My female cat loves my husbands cologne and deodorant. When he takes his shirt off she rubs her head all over the armpit of the shirt and rolls around on it. She even rubs her head on his couch pillow b/c it smells like his deodorant since he props his arm up on the pillow.

Whenever I get magazines, she loves those sample perfume ads! She will roll all over the mens cologne ads but not the womens perfume ads.

Why does my cat do this???

Why does my cat like mens cologne and deodorant?
It's like Catnip it attracts her. If you want her to stop buy her some Catnip and rub the Deo. on it and give it to her to play with. In time she will prefer nothing but it and leave your hubby's stuff alone.

Unless you are jealous don't worry about it
Reply:maybe she just does it because she likes the smell of mens products.
Reply:The reason why is because cats have a very keen sense of smell and it is overwhelming her. It is sort of like catnip to them. My cat does it too.
Reply:I'm going to allow myself to be goofy: better that they get attracted to that than to the natural male body scents!

Seriously: cats appreciate fine scents: try flowers: they go bananas!!! and a lot of the perfume/aftershave, etc are made with natural stuff: musk, flower oils, etc.
Reply:Its likes the smell try getting real cat nip .I'll bet it will love it.
Reply:attracted to musk
Reply:My cat does this too. She likes strong scents. She licks me to death when I put on lotion and stuff, she even rolls all over the floor in the laundry room when ever I use bleach in the wash...but she has no reaction to cat nip
Reply:Scent is a big thing to cats, they are very attracted to some and repulsed by others.

One of our four cats does the same thing, she licks me if I put perfume on, licks my Husband when he puts on cologne.

She loves hand lotion and Vicks vapo rub!!

Cats are "supposed" to be turned off by citrus scent...not mine, I actually had to stop use lemon or orange scented furniture polish because she would come right behind me when I was dusting and lick the furniture!!

Removal of white cap on deodorant spray.?

I'm worried after finding many deodorant cans in my teenage son's bedroom with the white top that you spray with missing. Is this a sign of solvent abuse?

Removal of white cap on deodorant spray.?
It sounds very much like solvent abuse . One can with top missing could be an accident , but many of them is no accident.

have you not spotted any other signs , secretive, quiet , moody etc . All I know can also be fairly normal in teen boys but you know your own son and I would have thought the signs would be obvious to you.

What is not easy however is how you approach this without pushing him further away , but you just can't ignore it either.

So try and find a quiet moment where you can talk to him , think through how you will approach this before you speak to him , Hopefully he will realise that he is causing himself problems now and also later if he continues and will seek the right medical help to overcome this.

I wish you luck.
Reply:Yes.. You need the cap to get the necessary spray for normal use .. So the cans are not being used normally. Get help quick, before you have a dead son.
Reply:9 out of ten times yes very much so either that or has a heavy hand an keeps bursting them which i doubt....watch how you approach him though ,it may be a mate that's doing it not him.
Reply:Oh, God. It may be heavy-handedness, but I doubt it.

Get him to a doctor, or confront him. Matter of fact, maybe You should do both!!!!!

Is the Gilette Clinical Strength deodorant healthy for you?

I have a bad perspiration/body odor problem where I would constantly smell terrible even though I always put a lot of deodorant on. Lately I bought the new Gilette Clinical Strength, and it's awesome, I have barely broken a sweat and I haven't smelled at all since using it. The thing is, I don't know how healthy it is, because the instructions say to put it on at night due to your low sweat rate, and it makes "plugs" to make you not sweat. Is that really healthy? I mean you have to sweat to stay cooled, but if you're not sweating, wouldn't that be kind of harmful? I mean, nothing bad has happened yet, but I just wanted to make sure it was good to keep using.

Is the Gilette Clinical Strength deodorant healthy for you?
Just don't coat your body in it. You have enough skin surface area to sweat a healthy amount. Just pits and feet should be ok.

The reason why your armpits and other areas smell when they sweat is your sweat glands in those areas put out oil as well it is "yellow sweat" Bacteria produce strongly smelling compounds as a waste product when they "make a living" off that sweat.
Reply:It might be okay to use. (I don't know because I've never tried it.) You might want to go to a dermatologist though, they may be able to prescribe something to you. I saw a commercial on t.v. that said that something like 1 in 3 people think they sweat too much, but they really don't. I don't know, I'd go see a doctor or dermatologist.

Ladies help! I have a deodorant problem?

I have tried every deodorant and it works for a few days then it stops, its like a pattern. Has this happened to anyone? What did you do?

Ladies help! I have a deodorant problem?
wax your armpits.. and when you shower, clean them carefully..

and use some anti-bacteria soap..

the odour is produced by the bacteria that survives there when it comes in contact with sweat..

so cover it with an anti-bacteria product before applying the deodorant.. and see if that works..

hope i could help..
Reply:I used to have that happen. I finally tried Secret Platinum deodorant and it works and has for a long time for me. Certain Dri works well too, my husband has used that and it always works.
Reply:Yes. The best thing to do is alternate every other day between two different deodorants. Or you can use CertainDri, you put it on at night and shrinks your pores so you sweat less.
Reply:ive never had that happen but i think you should try using a different deodorant soundslike it sucks
Reply:Yes...I have that problem too. I find for some odd reason that when I get my underarms waxed, I have less of a perspiration problem. Maybe you can try that. Or if that doesn't work, try going to the dermatologist.

Deodorant Crystals - also known as Deodorant Stones - really do work. They simply kill odor causing bacteria and further inhibit the growth of bacteria as the day wears on. Bacterial growth is the cause of body odor. An invisible barrier of protection keeps you feeling fresh and clean all day long.

Right now, I use Secret Platinum invisible antiperspirant in Mystic Rain, but it doesn't seem to work. I'm 12 years old right now, and yesterday when I was at my friends house. We were playing DDR, and then one of my friends told me that she could see my armpit sweat. I live in Canada, so I don't have some stores like, Target, CVS, etc. So please suggest some good deodorant that actually WORKS! And please don't suggest some of those really expensive ones either. Reply:Here is some info (its from an answer I gave to a similar question a while back)

there is a product called Certain-dry and Dry Sol which I think you apply only at night maybe for only a few days or maybe a week and its supposed to last for a short while before you apply again... not sure exactly if I am right on how it works.

http://www.amazon.com/Certain-Dri-Anti-P...

there is also a product called Sweat Block that you apply once a week.

http://www.sweatblock.com/

you might be able to use these on other areas of the body like if you have excessive sweating on the hands but I am not sure.

if your sweating is not controllable by these then there is something called "Drionic" which they have underarm versions or hand/feet versions. You have to do I think 2 half hour sessions and depending on if you do it on low or high you have to do it for 7-8 hours total or double that on low. This is supposed to stop sweating for up to 6 weeks at a time. It stings when you use it but once you are used to it I guess its not that bad by what my uncle told me (he uses it with great success). Your underams will be red when first using it until you get used to it. But once you get through the treatments it will go back normal after some days. My uncle said this is the best thing he has ever tried as it stops his excessive sweating (he even sweat a lot during winter when it was snowing)

http://www.drionic.com/

also, if you don't want to go this route and your excessive sweating is on your underarms, there are underarm guards you can place on your clothing that absorb the sweat and prevent those armpit wet circles some people get.

there is

http://www.sweatex.com/

it says its not see-thru but if you are wearing a t-shirt you can see "something" there... they may not know its the underarm pads... but you can always wear a very thin undershirt with the sweat pad attached then your regular t-shirt or any other top over that.

and these:

Um...you could use the clinincal strength! My cuzin uses it and it makes her smell soo much better!!!
Reply:Deodorant products can mess with your natural chemistry %26amp; cause infections %26amp;/or irritation, so that might not be the best route.

Plain ol' cornstarch works well as an odor-absorbing powder, %26amp; doesn't have those irritating fragrances that can mess you up. Give it a shot, but just a light dusting is all you need... you're not frying chicken here, LOL!

Good luck! :) And remember that some fragrance is normal. You're a real, live woman, %26amp; we humans naturally produce some odors.
Reply:There are some pads that come with a light scent to try to mask the smell of periods. Cornstarch or a light dusting of baby powder might help. Don't use any sprays or deodorants or douches - they'll mess up your body's natural chemisty and you can end up with a yeast infection or a bacterial infection which will itch, burn and smell worse. Perhaps try a light tampon instead.
Reply:I don't recommend local deodorants, it can mess up the PH of your vagina and cause infections. However, if you already have a strong (bad) smell, you could already have an infection. I would go to a doctor.
Reply:There is, but it's not recommended to use because it's not safe.

Sheikh Al-Albanee (rahimahullah) said that it's okay for us to buy or to use something that contain alcohol, but for one condition: you won't get drunk if you drinks the alcohol in the same quantities with the one in the "thing" that contain it. But he also said it is haraam for muslims to buy nor to use with the quantities that will make you drunk.

I do not know if alcohol is prohibited while taking wuduk, maybe it doesnt allow water to be incontact with our skin, but even if that is the case, we can just spray some on our clothes, anyway, have read that it causes skin allergies to some people, so just spray on ur clothes, not skin.

Can You Beleive Julia Roberts doens't wear deodorant?
I've learned that some people MUST wear it and reapply it frequently, some people can go 2 days without reapplying, some people apply a small amount, and some people don't really need it at all.

Personally, I apply a small amount each day but my boyfriend doesn't need it at all. He really honestly doesn't have under arm odor - unless he does some very rigorous activity that leaves him drenched in sweat then he may smell sweaty but not arm-pit-stinky. My mom in her 60's doesn't wear it but my aunt in her 90's MUST wear it. I guess it's just genetics.

Which one is a better deodorant/ anti perspirant? stick, spray or liquid roll-on?

whats the diff between deodorant and anti-perspirant anyway?

Which one is a better deodorant/ anti perspirant? stick, spray or liquid roll-on?
stick or gel-stick are the best at stopping the sweat entirely.

liquid roll on is'nt bad, and is usualy undetectable (clear) therefore a favorite for woman.

spray isnt as good at stopping the sweat entirely, but usualy releases a pleasent smell for much longer. recommended for casual days, no workout

spray is usually a deodorant (de- odor. its simple), while other forms of deodorant can also seve as anti perspirants. i wouldnt reccomend using the latter too often- someone once told me its not healthy to stop ur sweat to much

Roll on, stick, gel, aerosol deodorant, pros and cons??

whats the difference? what r the pros and cons of each? i am 12 years old and just going to start using deodorant/antiperspritant and i dont know what to use!

Roll on, stick, gel, aerosol deodorant, pros and cons??
i've tried them all... i personally like secret solid (stick) and dove (stick).

i don't care for the aerosol, because when you spray it on... it goes everywhere. it doesn't feel like it provides enough protection (for odor or wetness). so you'll have to reapply and it's bad for the ozone layer!

as far as the roll on.... it works, but it takes time to dry. if you put deodorant on then quickly get dressed, it can stain your shirts (under the arms and on the sides of your shirt).

i don't care for the gel that much either. i don't think secret or dove come in gel form, but i've tried it with other brands. after 5-6 hrs, i always feel like i need to reapply. there is also some ingredient in the gels that make my skin itch.

so my choice is solids (sticks).... they are available in invisible solids as well. you can apply in the morning and still feel "fresh" throughout the night...

try them all to figure out which one(s) you like best.
Reply:use stick, not the liquid one. it blackens the underarm. just use light scented ones, they don't blacken too much.
Reply:Find one you like and just use it. I don't like aerosols because of the extra spray in the face. I use stick myself.
Reply:I prefer an invisible solid (stick). I don't like waiting for the roll-on and gel to dry, and I hate the cloud you end up breathing in while applying aerosol deodorant.

Can you recommend an underarm deodorant for a man with sensitive skin?

Preferably deordorant only, not anti-perspirant/deodorant. Thanks.

Can you recommend an underarm deodorant for a man with sensitive skin?
I tried a ladies hypoallergenic roll on. Worked until the rash cleared up.
Reply:Try using active women's deodorant. We have more sensitive skin than most men and it works just fine for us. It never hurts to try. There are different kinds to choose from so read the labels to get the most out of what you are looking for.
Reply:Dove.. It works great and is gentle.
Reply:Any speed-stick bar will work for you, they have sensitive skin versions of most of their products
Reply:I have the same problem. I have found out that if I use unscented deodorents, I avoid the problem of the rashes.
Reply:I remember a long time ago I had this mineral deoderant - literally just looked like a white rock.

You would rub it on, and while it didn't actually smell like anything, it would keep you from stinking for up to eight hours+

I actually didn't trust it at first, so I put some regular deoderant on after I applied the mineral - and after several hours of running around and stuff, the deoderant still smelled like I had just put it on - so then I gave the mineral by itself a try - and it worked perfectly!

I can't remember where it came from - and I'm not sure if it would react with your sensitive skin - but it might be worth a shot. You might check with some local shops that carry health food/herbs etc.
Reply:i like any of the right guard products
Reply:Depending on how much "protection" you need, you can always use Baking Soda (it's a natural deodorizer). If you need more protection try using a woman's brand of deodorant (ie; secret or dove) they have more moisturizers to protect the skin (because we have to shave/wax).

How do you get gel deodorant out of an eye?

No, I'm not kidding. This morning, I must have gotten some on my face and accidentally rubbed it into my eye. I washed it out about three times, but as can be expected, the deodorant mostly repelled the water. Thankfully, most of it was just on my eyelashes, and although those seem to be sticking together, my eye is only very slightly irritated. Still, I would like to know what I can use to clean what is left away from my eye.

...Poison control might know, but I don't really want to call them from work, and I don't want to wear out welcome with them - I've done a lot of stupid stuff this month, and this is a low one on the totem pole. So maybe somebody here from an experienced background already has an answer?

How do you get gel deodorant out of an eye?
Try asking someone to help you get it out. Use a bottle to spray some water directly into the eye might work better to get the gel out.

I will always return the favor and answer your questions!

Help! I need a strong deodorant and i need.......?
I have the exact same problem. Go to the store and get Certain Dri. You have to put it on at night before bed. I only have to use it like once a week now and no longer sweat at all. I still use a regular deodarant in the morning to smell nice though!
Reply:The best antiperspirant/deodorant I've ever found is Secret Clinical Strength. I works so good. Ever since I moved to Texas 5 years ago I've been looking for a good one to use, since it's so hot here. I'm telling ya, it works REALLY good. Even if I skip a day by accident, it still works good. As far as the skin maybe you could try some shaving bump cream(they sell it at Walmart and other places) that might work. Also make sure you use good quality razors to shave with and try to shave every day. Try Venus razors or some other good brand, no disposables!! Hope this works for you!! Have an awesome day!!

And for the bumps under your arm's ...how about using something like Neet or Nair instead ?
Reply:Try using Ban it smells great and it protects all day i love it and when u shave use shaving cream its most likely razor burn.
Reply:go to walmart and u should find a deodorant called certain dri its comes in a box u use it at night and it srsly works because its prescription strenght u won't even need to use regular deo and for the bumps try 2% hydrosortisone cream apply that at night hope this helps :]]]

Pls settle office debate about deodorant?

Is it socially acceptable to apply deodorant to the outside of your shirt if said shirt smells funny?

Pls settle office debate about deodorant?
Wouldn't a splash of cologne be a better option (that is, if you're wearing a smelly, unclean shirt to work in the first place)?
Reply:Ahh no! If shirt smell funny, the person wearing it most likely does too.
Reply:Socially acceptable? I suppose. Effective? No.
Reply:no.....
Reply:WTF? Hell no buy more shirts if u can't wash that often
Reply:it would be better to do the laundry

anyway don´t do it in th outside apply it in the inseam
Reply:That seems kind of odd to me, considering if you don't use invisible deodorant it will leave white stains. Why not just change your shirt and wash that one? Spray on cologne?
Reply:Spray deodorant would be alright in case you have a deodorant failure!!! I think that applying stick deodorant would be quite messy and unappealing.
Reply:lol. no deodorant, but i'll fess up, Spray some Febreze it's more reasonable. Least I think so, cos I do that sometimes with jeans I dont feel like washing.

But that aside I would say that if you're at the point of using deodorants on shirts, it might be time to do some laundry.
Reply:How about you wash your shirt instead?
Reply:no, take a shower dirtbag
Reply:WHAT!!!!!!!!! Where do you see this as even being a socially acceptable debate? You people are just plain nasty. If the shirt stinks that means the shirt and the person wearing it are dirty and disgusting. Use common sense and get back to work... LMAO
Reply:no i do not know
Reply:No... of course not!

I mean, come on!!!

If you got the deodorant why the heII are you going to put it on your clothes instead of on your body and then "said shirt" wouldn't get smelly in the first place!

If you got a smelly shirt there are only two acceptable options. Wash it. Or, burn it.

Now... what do you do if you somehow... magically decide that a shirt is smelly at work.

GO BUY A CLEAN FRIGGIN SHIRT! Do it at lunch... or take a break and go get something that will work for your job.

But don't stand there and smell up the place.

OK... Thank you... I feel better now for getting that out.

Have a nice day! :)
Reply:Noooooo!
Reply:EeeeW! a big NO NO!!!!
Reply:Only if it's the invisible kind. No marks, no problem, right?
Reply:Febreeze works good. There is also a fabric softener that you can spray on that is used to remove wrinkles from clothes that smells good. I guess you could try that if you're in a bind. If you notice the shirt smells bad in the morning, then maybe you should wear a different one. Definitely put your deoderant on yourself not your shirt. If you know for sure that the shirt is clean, then maybe there is a problem with your washing machine, or maybe you are letting your clothes sit to long in the washer before you put them in the dryer. That would make your clothes smell like mildew. Put them in the dryer right away with fabric softener. I like to use liquid fabric softener in the wash and sheets in the dryer. I LOVE it when my laundry smells good!!
Reply:Why wouldnt you put it on the inside where it wouldnt show?

Im guessing this was a mistake to wear a smelly shirt?

If youre in a bind, go ahead and try to deodorant it up! Honestly though, go home on lunch, wash up and wear a clean shirt if it's that bad..
Reply:No, it should be washed along with it's wearer.
Reply:If there is absolutely no alternative, change the shirt, but you really should wash it first. It just sounds really gross.
Reply:Tell Rob to quit being gross %26amp; to wash his clothing more often. I'll buy the guy some Febreeze for his backpack. He can place it next to his hunting knife.
Reply:gross I would say no. The deoderant should be put on the underarm under the shirt, putting the deoderant on the shirt will only make the smell worse, plus I'm sure it would show a stain
Reply:Outside of the shirt? ewww! Wash the shirt in Tide %26amp; Downy, the smell will go away
Reply:heck no take the dang thing off and change it. You put anything on the outside of your shirt and your asking for white stripes and funky colored underarms in the cloth.
Reply:the combination will be lousy!
Reply:Nope!
Reply:Depends on the society.
Reply:how about washing the shirt.
Reply:No, if said shirt stinks then said shirt should be washed.

Would it be overpowering to use body wash, deodorant and cologne?

Would it smell overpowering/bad to use Old Spice body wash, Old Spice deodorant and Adidas cologne?

It would only be one spray of the cologne, and I think the both body wash and deodorant are the "aqua reef" scent.

Would it be overpowering to use body wash, deodorant and cologne?
No, it would be great! Do it. I love men who smell good.

But make sure to keep it light with the cologne, because too much can turn someone off, can mess with someone's allergies, etc. etc.

Brush your teeth and use deodorant!?

why do some people feel they don't need deodorant?

and why don't some people feel the need to brush their teeth?

it's rude! i notice some cultures especially(i won't name names) seem like their countries never heard of these things...why????? even when it's brought to their attention...

Brush your teeth and use deodorant!?
some cultures do not follow the same protocols as us. Religion, law, cultural differences play a big part.

Now if you are talking about people you work with etc. and they work with the public or in close proximity to the public then it is rude.
Reply:it's not "rude" it's their culture. they probably think you're perfume or even deodorant smells bad. Report It

She MUST have been able to smell it, it was gross. Even if she didn't want to use deodorant for some reason, some soap would have helped!!!

Razor burn and accidentally putting deodorant on it ! HELP?

kay so when i was taking a shower and shaving my armpits, i accidentally cut myself and i got razor burn. then idk wat i was thinking..when i got outta the shower i put deodorant on

and the warning on the back said dont use on irritated, broken skin, after shaving, or after bathing.

woops. lol i broke all of those.

well it hurts really bad and is all red!

i washed it off but wat can i do to help it go away?!

THANKS!

Razor burn and accidentally putting deodorant on it ! HELP?
Bi Carbonate of Soda (baking soda) this stops the active ingredient (Aluminium Chloride) reacting! Do it Quick! it will work trust me! Good Luck
Reply:Put some ice on it. OR I read somewhere on this site that if you soak a tissue in milk and keep it on that area until the tissue dries up, then it'll help with the redness and irritation. I've never tried it, but it sounds like it should work. Good luck.
Reply:Try iodine or mercurochome. They'll sting so much, the deodorant will feel like a soothing balm.
Reply:I would just try numbing it with ice
Reply:try taking some ibuprofin

it should help with both the pain and swelling

also if you have an antibiotic cream like neosporin

you may want to use some of that to help it heal and help fight infection
Reply:You should apply some Witch Hazel to it on a cotton ball. It will not burn and will sooth the irritation and calm down the burning. You can pick up a bottle at any drug store and places like Target or Wal-Mart. Should be right next to the alcohol and peroxide.

Asked for ID to buy deodorant?

I found this ridiculous. I have bought deodorant since I was like 9 (I'm 16 now) and I went into the Co-Op to buy some and I needed an ID. Why is this? Who agrees that this is stupid?

Asked for ID to buy deodorant?
You can theoretically kill yourself instantly from aerosol abuse, you can also blind someone else with it. Its come about because of overzealous safety-obsessed pratts.

I will also say that you're LESS likely to be involved in these things if you're UNDER 16 - SHEER STUPIDITY!
Reply:What were you doing buying deodorant at 9 years old? Most 9 year olds I know don't go around buying deodorant. The way they smell is not exactly the top priority in their life. Perhaps you are a little wierd and they picked up on that and thought you might inhale the contents.
Reply:No its not stupid.. deodorant like alcohol and glue are sometimes used for abuse... not only do these safeguards protect the store from prosecution but also the wider community as a whole.. it is part of a responsible retail initiative...

how would you feel if your son at 15 was allowed to purchase potentially lethal goods without any safeguards.....

Believe me it would be easier for the store just to say Yes.. Yes.. Yes and sell anything to anyone...

Next time you see a group of youths drunk on the street causing chaos.. ask yourself.. WHERE did they get the substance?

Some use alcohol some abuse with other substances
Reply:I've been asked for ID for buying a 4 ounce bottle of automotive paint. They do it to dissuade younger kids from buying things like auto paint or aerosols for misdemeanor acts such as graffiti or inhalant drugs, respectively.

(I dont agree with this, to be honest, and it's just like asking for an ID on video games. It wont dissuade the individual from wanting to buy the game, so they will use other means to play it.)
Reply:This week I was asked for ID in a Bank which I have been using for sixty years and by a cashier who was young enough to be my great granddaughter. I must have been carrying my bag of swag.
Reply:Spray can? Then you should be asked for id. Anything in a spray can can be misused, especially if there is anything flammable in the can. Ever seen hair spray used like a torch?
Reply:Perhaps the manager of the co-op would be happy to explain the stores policy to you if you ask nicely.
Reply:Oh man you didn't know. Turn the can at an angle and snort the sh*t out of it. Oh man will you get high (and kill millions of those pesky brain cells at the same time)

Yeah its stupid that its gotten to the point where over the counter products are being misused. But alas, what are we to do.

ps, don't snort the deodorant.
Reply:would be funny if its roll-on ya bought.....:-)
Reply:That's stupid, definitely. Parents need to watch their own damn kids. That's the problem, all these people on here giving thumbs down while they should be watching their deodorant snorting heathens. That's the problem. You should be able to go buy antiperspirant without harassment. Any kid snorting that stuff is stupid anyways and needs proper parents. If more people were whipping out that rod and giving less timeouts we wouldn't have all these problem kids.

I have never ever been carded for stick or spray deodorant. That's really lame. For the past 12 years spray is all I buy.
Reply:I agree but that's how you get ahead in this world.

The more dumb people are the more things they seem to control
Reply:Because Co-op suck go into bodycare or boots or something ;)
Reply:They probably needed to verify that you are a member of the coop.
Reply:They'll also card you for canned air, NyQuil, whipped cream canisters, and a laundry list of other items now... if they'd just legalize drugs you wouldn't have kids snorting rat poison to get a buzz...
Reply:Yes, this whole thing of punishing everyone for the actions of a few stupid people is getting out of hand. Why don't we just make it illegal for anyone under 21 to buy or sell anything? That'd solve the problem, no? *smirk*
Reply:Its in case you inhale it and get high.
Reply:it's not stupid actually the reason they ask for i.d is because there is a lot of substance abuse going on
Reply:they ID for many things that can be inhaled.
Reply:no way!!!!hey whats the name of it so that i can buy it...it probably get u really high!!!!hahaha
Reply:When I was a grocery cashier the last year and a half at Walmart, we were required to ID for anything that could possibly be inhaled as drug abuse. If anyone was underage or refused to show ID, we refused the sale. Some of the strangest things too but I understand why they ask for it.

No matter what I try it doesn't work I still end up smelling like sweat and onions.

It's really gross and I'm really tired of it.

I've tried Dove, Secret, Ban etc etc.

None have worked.

Help please?

What is a good working deodorant for women?
first, make sure that you are washing your armpits realllly good with a strong soap.

If you are continuing to break through these deodorants you might want to talk to you doctor. They make perscription deodorants for people who sweat more than normal.

You can also try men's deodorant it you have too.

Putting baby powder on sweaty palms and then deodorant? HOw does that work!?

i thought deodorants are used for your pits only.. i mean u wont get hand cancer or anything right? does anyone use certain dri.. i heard a person puts that on their hands as well.. okay now im confused.

1. do u apply baby powder first and then put deodorant?

2. will putting ur hands and feet in tea help?

Putting baby powder on sweaty palms and then deodorant? HOw does that work!?
eating certain foods can encourage sweating. Keeping hands from sweating can be a body heat thing, which is good because their metabolism is excellent and I bet they aren't overweight.

You can add lemon balm to the eating habits to help keep the body cool and keep down the sweaty palms. Using a soap that helps fight bacteria is useful too.

As for the above, it's an either or, but the deodorant would kind of defeat the purpose, so powders would be more effective.

Do you use antiperspirant? Or deodorant?

USE DEODORANT only!! because antiperspirant contains aluminum zicronium a chemical known to cause cancer. so be a bit sweaty it's natural and you'll lessen your chance of cancer, especially lymphoma.

Do you use antiperspirant? Or deodorant?
I have both and use both. On regular days it's the deodorant. And when I'm going out on a special occasion lets say a date, or even a job interview, it's the antiperspirant. Now I know that the latter can cause cancer, but I sweat a lot and it's really not appropriate to have stains under your armpits on a job interview, it's just not proper. Oh well...
Reply:have you heard of parabens?

Parabens are preservatives that are widely used in the cosmetics industry and sometimes in food, as well. Examples: methylparaben, propylparaben, butylparaben, and benzylparaben.

Parabens have been indicated to elevate the number of instances of cancer, particularly breast cancer.

If you Google “parabens“, you get a LOT of information.

Theres tiny traces of it in your shampoo lotions conditioners toothpaste..and in the shampoo alone wont kill you but what if every product you used contained it?? thats something to think about. Ill keep the deodorant tip in mind and pass it along..I hope you do the same about the parabens. :)
Reply:There is no scientific evidence at all that deodorant and anti-perspirant cause cancer. It's an urban myth/legend.

The widespread belief that deodorants and anti-perspirants can cause breast cancer is due largely to a hoax email that was widely circulated

For the facts, read:

http://www.breastcancer.org/symptoms/und...

http://info.cancerresearchuk.org/healthy...

http://www.cancerhelp.org.uk/help/defaul...

There is no scientific proof that parabens, which are a group of chemicals used as preservative in cosmetics, cause or contribute to cancer.

In 2004 British researchers found traces of parabens in tissue taken from women with breast cancer. They claim the study demonstrates that if people are exposed to parabens , the chemicals will accumulate in their bodies

This was a very small study indeed - around 20 women - and doesn't appear to have had any sort of control group of women without breast cancer.

While there is no real evidence that parabens are linked to cancer, many people prefer to avoid using cosmetics and deodorants with preservatives like these; preservatives in cosmetics are on the label it is easy to find out which products contain these chemicals and avoid them.

Anyone have a natural salt deodorant recipe to share?

I have been using the THAI CRYSTAL (brand) Deodorant Roll-On, and I really like it. But, I would like to save money and make my own to use. I have saved several roll-on bottles to fill if I can find the recipe. The ingredients listed on the bottle are: "mineral salts and filtered water." I am not sure what sort of mineral salts to use, or the ratio of salts to water as well as the details of preparation. Thank you in advance for your help!

Anyone have a natural salt deodorant recipe to share?
This is my own testimony. I was tired of stinky armpits and yellow stains on my clothes. And I didn't like using aluminum they put in all those deodorants. This stuff works so well and it's so cheap. If anyone has more questions about this please feel free to email me. Included are the intructions on the best way I found to use it.

Baking Soda works a thousand times better than any deodorant you'd find on the store shelf. It doesn't put that yellow stain on your clothes either. Read on to find out my experience.

I happened to come across some information, in one of my books, on how to get rid of stinky feet problems. I don't have stinky feet but I read it just out of curiosity, because I know some people who have a problem with that. The book suggested using Baking Soda. I thought about that for a moment and said to myself, "If it can work for stinky feet why wouldn't it work for stinky armpits?" Don't laugh..... I figured I'd be a good candidate to test it out, because I have a terrible problem with smelly armpits that could be smelt a mile away. Using deodorants from the store never helped my problem much. I would always have to put some more on in the middle of the day and it seemed to only mask my problem, not eliminate it. They also left that yellow stain that wouldn't come out unless you did some hard scrubbing with laundry detergent and your hands. That can get a little old too.

I have been using Baking Soda for 8 months now and I have never had bad odor since. Also, my clothes are not getting stained like they do when using regular deodorant. This stuff works for 24 hours and you use so little of it! Some of you might be saying, "Yeah, but how does the powder stay on? What about my dark clothes?"

I haven't had it come off and as far as those dark clothes, it would show in the beginning when the powder dried, but if you wipe it off it comes off really easy and whatever is still on your armpits doesn't re-stain your dark clothing with more white powder. This remains to be debated by more people though. I used it with my beautiful sleevless formal gown and it didn't show. My gown was dark purple. I haven't found it to be an inconvenience for me at all, and you can't see the powder on your armpits. If you have black color skin I'm not sure if it will show, but it doesn't hurt to try!

Here's how you can use it. I did a lot of trial and error trying to find the easiest way. Here's what I came up with. Spray your armpit with water. I found that using a water sprayer, that's the size of those trial size hair sprayers, is the best. But you can use whatever size you like. Spray just enough so that your armpit is wet, on the verge of dripping. You don't want it to actually drip, because that's too much moisture. Touch the wet area on your armpit with your finger, then take that same wet finger and touch the surface of the Baking Soda powder. This will give you the correct amount you need to be odor free all day. Then, when the powder is stuck to your finger, rub it into the wet surface on your armpit. It should go on smoothly with out flaking and you shouldn't have water dripping down your side. You'll eventually figured out the right amount of water. I have experienced light redness on occasion but it wasn't a problem.

This stuff is perfect for traveling, because a little goes a long way. A tablespoon lasted me one month. Find a travel size container and a travel size spray bottle and you're good to go. I tried premixing Baking Soda with the water and that didn't work out well at all.
Reply:I think they use alum (edit: more specifically potassium alum), so it's a salt of aluminium, and I know you can get this kind of thing in rock form also (that's how it occurs naturally), but how this is then turned into a smooth roll-on or spray form I have no idea.
Reply:my mum wanted the crystal one so i bought it for her. My auntie (who's a vegetarian, if that matters) swears by bicarbonate of soda. she said you just have to get used to the amount you put on. she washes her armpits, dries them then puts it on over the sink. She's been using it years, she swears by it, and it's dead cheap. hope this helps.

How to get rid of deodorant stains in your shirt?

plz i need to know an easy way to get deodorant stains out of my shirt without using the washer mashine thxs

How to get rid of deodorant stains in your shirt?
Color-safe Bleach

Laundry Detergent With Enzymes

Sponge

White Vinegar

Step 1:

Act as soon as possible to minimize chemical staining. Sponge white vinegar on the stain to loosen the buildup of the deodorant's aluminum chloride or zinc salts, which discolor and weaken fabric over time.

Step 2:

Soak stubborn stains overnight in an enzyme-containing laundry detergent.

Step 3:

Launder with your usual detergent and color-safe bleach in the warmest water safe for your garment.

Good Luck!

What is a good STRONG deodorant for an 11 year old boy?

My son has really strong bo and i cant seem to find a good deodorant for him

What is a good STRONG deodorant for an 11 year old boy?
An 11 year old shouldn't sweat enough to have BO but it is possible if he doesn't shower for many, many days. Be sure that he has plenty of clean clothes so that he doesn't put back on the same dirty clothes. Deodorants mask the problem, they don't fix the cause.
Reply:Have him try an anti-perspirant. I don't use it, I think it's too strong. Just a regular unscented deodorant is fine for me, but every guy is different.

If he's showering night and morning and using a deodorant stick, he shouldn't smell. If he does, he should try anti-perspirant.
Reply:He's too young. Needs to shower more.
Reply:Certain Dry. I get it at Walgreens.
Reply:a good bath once a day and then some old spice lether
Reply:Degree releases extra protection...

Honestly though my cousin swears by Chlorophyllin / Chlorophyll, depends on the store you buy it from. It's a pill and it really helps control BO. As does clothing and diet...

"Eating certain foods or spices, such as curry, garlic, onions, and particularly spicy food, can lead to stronger body scent. Alcohol and caffeine from coffee, tea, most sodas, and chocolate also contribute to strong body aroma." and "Wearing cotton clothing and other natural fibers also allows the skin to breathe, solving some odor issues. New synthetic fabric clothing, often found in sports stores, wicks away sweat from the body, preventing or reducing odor."
Reply:Old spice or Rexona for men...
Reply:VDO....

Reply:axe that what my boys use there 11 and 13 i works real good
Reply:I work hard and sweat buckets. I have great results with Old Spice Red Zone and Gillette Clear Gel. I assume you do the laundry, t so a word of warning, the Old Spice tends to leave blue/green arm pit stains in white shirts.
Reply:Hi

I think the most important thing for teenagers is to have a shower daily. Its the old sweat that smells. Make him do it even if he doesnt want to.

Give him a clean fresh top to wear each day espeically for school as the class rooms get very hot. Cotton is the best to wear as your skin can breath through it. You dont want him to be known as the smelly one.

Lynx is a good deodarant for teenagers. They do roll on and spray. Nice boyish smells and is aimed at teengers and young men so he will like the scent and packaging. Very reonsable in price too.
Reply:Dry Idea (unscented )
Reply:Old Spice Red Zone. Try it. thats some powerful manly stuff!
Reply:Some Axe doeodorant and the bodyt spray and body wash the 3 things cost less than $12

Has anyone used the rock deodorant?

This is a deodorant that is literally a rock. it is found at health food stores and online. ( http://www.crystaldeodorantprotection.co... ). i was going to get it for my boyfriend, does anyone know if it works?

Has anyone used the rock deodorant?
He won't use it . It's not an antiperspirant, just deodorant. Most guys need antiperspirant.
Reply:If someone has super BO naturally, then no I don't think this'll work. Its great for someone who does not perspire too much. I use the liquid crystal deordorant and its just "ok"...
Reply:Yes if you use it 2 ot 3 times a day. And it's healthy for you
Reply:I used it and was not pleased with the results.

It is just alum in a cake

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alum

Happy Thanksgiving

Also Alum is really good to stop bleeding
Reply:I've use it. I think the brand is called "Crystal"...maybe.

I bought it because it was unscented. I hate to smell like deodorant after I've spent so much money on a bottle of perfume so I am always willing unscented ones out.

It felt fine on the skin and it didn't give me any allergies (big plus there as I have sensitive skin!)

However...I felt stinky by the end of the day.

I go to gym pretty much every day so I need something that will keep me dry and "fresh" all day.

By mid day, however, I felt like I needed to apply more deodorant.

So I don't recommend it!

If you are looking for an organic deodorant that lists better...try Tom's of Maine. They have some called "long lasting" which are ok for the whole day...but again...organic deodorants usually need to be re applied before you go to the gym!
Reply:Yes, it is widely used in Asia. It doesn't clog up pores like chemical deodorants do, so it is better for you.
Reply:This is exactly what I have! I have been using crystal deodrant for about 15 years and will never use another thing under my pits. It's odorless and colorless, leaves no marks on my clothes and never a scent of B.O. all day long. I made my 12 year old use it instead of anti-perspirant, because it's got no aluminum or bad chemicals in it. I wouldn't trade it for the world! I think it's such a bargain, too. I get the rock at beauty supply stores for 15-20 bucks and it takes me years to use it up. It is not an anti-perspirant, so it only works on odor. Good luck, give it a shot!

How many times are you supposed to swipe deodorant under your arms?

When I apply deodorant, I always get carried away and end up swiping at least 10 times. I can't stop myself. Sometimes I get the little deodorant balls which is not attractive.

So I need to know how many times is good enough?

How many times are you supposed to swipe deodorant under your arms?
try about 2-3 times. that should be good no matter what type of day you are in for.
Reply:if it is real hot and humid, do 3-5 for each.
Reply:well i dnt knw!!! do u stank???!!!????
Reply:why such a stupid question
Reply:I go up and down (1 swipe) 4 times.
Reply:Excess product just rubs off on your clothes and clumps. A thin coating is all you need, maybe once up and once down. If that doesn't work you need a stronger product, not necessarily more product. Hope that helps.
Reply:one maybe two if I know if will be pretty active that day.
Reply:Six times per side
Reply:i do 2
Reply:just once or twice is fine you dont want to paint it on lol
Reply:I do about 3. If you start to perspire and you have too much on, it'll start to drip off and feel slimy (depending on what kind you have). It's not the best feeling. Also, most deodorants leave that white stain so the more you have on, the worse it's going to look. Just lighten up on the swipes and you should be fine! =)
Reply:Yes I use to do the same thing until the deodrent stains wouldnt come out of my shirts. I think 3 swipes should do it for each arm
Reply:I only do it one swipe up in each pit!
Reply:two times
Reply:At least 3 a couple times a day.
Reply:at least twice under each arm pit.
Reply:One down, One up. that's enough for me...

Can you recommend a good deodorant?

I prefer to use deodorant rather than antiperspirant, but I find the brands I've tried don't work that well. Right now I'm using one that 'Tom's of Maine' makes, and it's not bad....but I'm looking for something that will work a little better for me.

A friend of mine mentioned to me once that her body tends to break down the formula used in various DOs and antiperspirants, so she has to buy several brands and rotate them daily. Has this worked for anyone else?

And suggestions are appreciated!!

Can you recommend a good deodorant?
I use Secret Clinical Strenght Deodorant, it works great!!
Reply:Secret brand all the way, its a classic and works great!
Reply:if you sweat very badly- try mens unscented deoderant(mens is made to work better/its stronger) baby powder and sahve your pits everyday. Hair folocuels, trap dirt and sweat.

if you don't sweat verybadly- goopy gels don't work. go with unscented deoderant, go with powder scenets, and fresh or clean smelling deoderants.

I also suggest, if your over 14 to shave your pits atleast once of twice a week.
Reply:If you perspire a lot, try Driclor. I am not sure if it is scented though. What you can do is, apply Driclor, then spray some nice, scented anti-antiperspirant on top to make it smell nice.
Reply:I like Dove Ultimate Clear.
Reply:I would recommend a brand called lady mitchem. I had a problem with other deodorants just not working very well. I tried brand after brand, until someone recommended this one. This has been one I have now used for years now, and it works great!
Reply:I have bad luck with deodorants for some reason. I've tried probably all of them and I still sweat sometimes - I have no odor but I sweat. I notice that if I use Degree Ultra Clear and then use baby powder I have no problems at all. Try that. Plus I smell really good.
Reply:i used to have trouble finding the right deodorant. i had to rotate every week or two because it wouldn't on me anymore. I tried Dove deodorants now, and i've been using it for over 2 months and haven't had to change yet...they leave your skin moisterized, soft and they smell great! hope that one works for you too!
Reply:Nivea - The whitening one. Makes my armpits whiter too..

If not available, I use SOS from Avon.

HELP!!! i need a better deodorant!!!?
Try taking chlorophyll, it's known to be a natural body deodorizer. You can buy it at any health food store and it's easy to take, just have it with juice in the morning.
Reply:they do make stronger over the counter deodrants. if that doesn't work for you either see a doctor.
Reply:use a nice body wash with a strong fragrance when u take a shower
Reply:Try "Secret CLINICAL Strength" -- it is about $8, and you can find it at Walmart, target, or any drug store...

It comes in a white box -- it is NOT The "regular" kind of Secret... It is actually prescription strength -- and it WORKS! : )

Believe me! : )

What are the main Ingredients in making Foot deodorant?

What are the main Ingredients in making Foot deodorant?.

can a pomelo or shaddock be an effective Foot Deodorant? What are the things that can make it Possible.. thnx.

What are the main Ingredients in making Foot deodorant?
Start witht the basics: Cause of foot odor...sweat, bio-organisms that thrive in the moist, warm surfaces.

Best basic remedy: Stop the sweat...impossible since this is your body cooling mechanism. Next one: keep area dry...for this, the best/economical/natural remedies are baking soda, talc powder or charcoal. These ingredients will keep the area dry, which is not good for growth of bio-organisms. These ingredients are the base (economical, natural, easy to handle). Add to these ingredients, items such as perfumes or anti-bacterial, and you have a foot deodorant.l
Reply:Baking soda absorbs odours and acts to make a less friendly environment for bacteria.

Would you rather share your deodorant or live with someone's body odor?

Okay you and a stranger are traveling to unknown lands, and one of you forgot your deodorant, you can't just go to the store and buy one. Would you share or live with tthe odor, you are traveling in very close quaters.

Would you rather share your deodorant or live with someone's body odor?
i would share because i use spray on deodrant so it would not matter
Reply:I would share, and clean it up a bit, before i used it...:)
Reply:share
Reply:share! you can always whipe it off a lil bit
Reply:I would feel kind of skeezed out by sharing, but I would definitely do it! There's nothing more sickening than the smell of B.O.
Reply:I would share my deodorant, I use the spray kind.
Reply:I guess I would share, hopefully the stranger would be a fairly non stinky girl and not some big sweaty hairy guy :)
Reply:I'd just breathe through my mouth because there's no way I'd share my deodorant with a stranger.
Reply:i'd share! i can just wipe it off after they're done. besides, i'd rather have their 'armpit germs' under my arms than their sick b.o. in my nose.
Reply:I'd share with that person because B.O. is the worse! at least he'll be clean.
Reply:Got to share
Reply:share...body oder reeks
Reply:Share!!
Reply:Share. Even if it's the stick kind, you can cut off the very top so that you aren't exactly going pit-to-pit. Ew.
Reply:Share. Bad odors make me gag.
Reply:i always carry liek a dozen with me and plus i use the spray ones mostly

Is using Talc as a deodorant still dangerous?

I know talc is supposed to be very harmful if used on babies....but is it bad for us men if we use it on our armpits as a deodorant?

Is using Talc as a deodorant still dangerous?
It should be fine if you apply it carefully. It's best not to puff it into the air a lot so you breathe huge amounts in, but it's essentially harmless -- probably a lot better than an aluminum-based deodorant.

Whats the strongest anti perspirant /deodorant for woman?

How do you get solid deodorant stains out of t-shirts?

I get a build up of hard deodorant on my shirts.

How do you get solid deodorant stains out of t-shirts?
Try wetting a cloth with white vinegar and rubbing it on the stain. It may not smell great, but it takes those white stains right out.
Reply:Use a bar of Ivory soap moistened with hot water and rub it into the deodorant stain making a paste. Add some more hot water and work it into the fibers. Rinse thoroughly.

If that doesn't work, soak the stain in a mixture of warm water %26amp; vinegar before rinsing thoroughly.
Reply:Remove Arm Pit Stains:

To keep the stains from setting in as you wash your shirts add one cup of Hydrogen Peroxide to a load of light or white shirts and wash as normal.

For items already yellowing mix a quarter cup of Cascade in a bucket of hot, hot water soak the garments in the mixture to whiten whites.

Hint: Try not to over dry white and light colored items. Use a lower temperature setting as the higher settings can yellow whites. Also, some liquid fabric softeners can cause yellowing in white fabrics if not rinsed out well.

Have a great day!
