How can you get deodorant stains out of dark clothes?

I have some dark shirts that have a white deodorant build up in the armpits. Is there anyway to get that to come out?

I honestly wish I knew too, I have a couple of shirts that are the same way and the stain doesn't go away.
Reply:No, just throw it away or wear it. change your deodorant to a clear base.
Reply:um.Clorox?
Reply:Are we talking about shirts that have already been through wash/dry cycles? I don't know if there's much (or any) hope then. If it's a fresh problem, baby wipes usually work great at removing deodorant stains and they're gentle on the fabric. Another safe method that sometimes works is rubbing the area with a pair of nylons. I've also heard of people having success using white vinegar. If it's a special or important article you should take it to the cleaners and allow them to attempt to handle it.
Reply:The Dollar tree or Dollar General sells a product called AWESOME.

It is totally awesome and it does the trick for just about anything. Test it first on a small inside piece. I use it all the time and it does not discolor anything. Works like a charm...oh did I mention that it is only $1 for a bottle?
Reply:dont know but try using rubbing alchohol for deodorant, works great.
Reply:Zout works, just be careful.
