May I take a deodorant can when flying?

I want to take a deodorant can (aerosol can) that's 150ml checked-in. Is it allowed?

I've heard that you can take 100ml aerosol can on-board in the hand luggage.

So can I put a can in the check-in baggage?

May I take a deodorant can when flying?
Different countries may have different policies. Generally yes, you can generally take aerosol cans (and other gels and liquids) in your checked luggage. This is true in the U.S. Carry-on luggage is a different story. In the U.S. liquids in carry-on must be in 3 ounce or smaller containers and held in a clear, 1 quart resealable bag which should be removed from your bag to be scanned. In practice there seems to be little uniformity in the way the carry-on rules are enforced. I've had one small aerosol can of shaving cream I carried on confiscated arbitrarily. Another was confiscated from my carry-on plastic bag because it didn't have a lid...
Reply:If it's checked, then yes you can.
Reply:Yes you may put anything (obviously not guns, drugs etc) in you check-in baggage.
Reply:Sure you can, there's no size limit regarding deodorant in your check-in luggage, and aerosol cans are fine. I'm sure the people at your destination will appreciate it if you do bring some. By the way, contrary to your first answer, most airlines do allow guns in checked luggage as long as you declare it when you check-in.
Reply:Yeah, you can put the deodrant can in your check-in bag, but you cant take it onboard the plane. It is over the limit.

You can bring the solid deodorant kind (the entire thing) onboard a plane.
Reply:You can put it in your checked bag but not your carry on. You ca only have 4 ml containers i carry on bags and they dont allow aerosl cans.
