The Best deodorant??? I tried the clear gel but it doesn't work?

I'm sick of wasting money on deodorant only to throw it away because it doesn't work good, smells, or doesn't dry right away, or leaves white marks. Ladies, help please!!!

The Best deodorant??? I tried the clear gel but it doesn't work?
Try the crystal stick, you get it from health stores. It really does work

The Crystal deodorants are composed of mineral salts which form a topical layer on the skin, creating an environment impossible for bacteria to thrive. They eliminate the odor-causing bacteria and therefore prevent body odor.

How is that different from mainstream deodorants? Most deodorants mask body odor with a perfumed scent, contain alcohol to shrink pores, or aluminum chlorohydrate/aluminum zirconium. These compounds enter the pores and physically block or clog them to reduce the flow of perspiration. In essence, they inhibit the body's natural expulsion of toxins.
Reply:i have always used lady speed stick. it looks white, but it goes on invisible. works well. i have a warehouse job and i don't get all nasty sweaty under my arms, even in the summer heat. i am an adult, but i really like the teen spirit ones by speed stick. they smell really nice and they work very well.
Reply:spray deoderant
Reply:It depends what you want to do. Deodorants help cover up smell but still let you sweat; antipersperents help stop sweat.

If you want to stop sweat, try Mitchum. So far, it's the best one I've found and trust me, I've tried pretty much every product you can buy from Wal-Mart, Target, or Rite-Aid. The ingredient that stops sweat is aluminum based so the ingredient that you'll want a lot of is usually going to be one of the following:

* Aluminum chloride

* Aluminum zirconium tricholorohydrex glycine

* Aluminum chlorohydrate

* Aluminum hydroxybromide

You will want a higher percentage of that active aluminum ingredient. I've noticed that most antiperspirants tend to be between 12-16% of that active ingredient -- even the ones labeled 'extra-strength', etc. None of those worked for me. I even looked at the antiperspirants for men, figuring that 'extra strength' for men would probably be...stronger...than extra strength for women. And if one of those has been stronger (and unscented!), I totally would have bought it, but it's exactly the same!

Eventually I tried to Mitchum's line for women, which has 20%. This is, so far, the highest percent of active ingredient I've been able to find. Mitchum comes in two scents which are Shower Fresh and Powder Fresh. Apparently it also comes unscented but I haven't been able to find that. Since I hate baby powder-y smells, I have the shower one and it kind of smells soapy-ish, a clean smell. I also liked Almay's because it's unscented and hypoallergenic but it didn't work quite as well. Both of them were gels and do seem to take a few minutes to dry, but I'd rather have to wait to put on my shirt than sweat through my shirt later that day.

If you're looking for deodorants only, then I don't really know what to recommend since I don't use those. I do know that LUSH has some deodorants that are supposed to be pretty good. Again, I've never used them, so I can't vouch for the specific products, but I have ordered and used a ton of other stuff from LUSH that works and does exactly what they say it will, so I think it would be a safe bet that their deodorants would work well.
Reply:I use Drysol, had to get a prescription from my doctor but I use it once a week (before bed, it will stain clothes so don't wear it during the day) and I don't even have to wear deoderant for the rest of the week - dry as a whistle! I think Secret just came out with an over-the-counter version.
Reply:Only deodorant I found that works for me is Rexona Oxygen. Unfortunately, this one can leave white marks if not careful when putting on clothes. My second option is the Dove sprays, there's a new one that doesn't leave white marks, but not nearly as strong as the Rexona brand.
Reply:There is a new cinical strength one from secret i think... and I love my degree for women
Reply:Dove Deodorant works really well for me, it dries fast, it smells good and it lasts for 24 hours, no matter what I do. They have a new one that leaves absolutely NO white marks, I didn't believe it at first but I got a free sample from the website and I put it on then put on a black t-shirt, about 15 minutes later I took the shirt off checked the sides and the armpit part of the inside of the shirt and there was no white anywhere. Go to http://www.dove.com and on the home page at the bottom there is a section next to the product finder that says EXCLUSIVE OFFERS, there is a small list of things and the last one is Dove Ultimate Clear deodorant click on that and you can request a free sample, mine showed up in about a week. Hope that helps!!
