Hyperhidrosis can be caused by undiagnosed food intolerances or heavy metal poisoning. The two are not unrelated.

I had severe hyperhidrosis along with arhhythmia, migraines and muscle twitching. I went through all the regular treatments including robinul, klonopin, drysol, and finally ETS surgery. After 2-3 years the hyperhidrosis and Raynaud's syndrome began to return.

My symptoms were caused by mercury toxicity from old fillings, which led to wheat and dairy intolerance (gluten and casein). After eliminating grains and dairy from my diet, the symptoms have gone away. I had all fillings replaced with composite material, and have been taking supplements for B vitamins, minerals (magnesium, zinc, etc.) and probiotics.

If you search, there are several sources which mention hyperhidrosis as a symptom of mercury poisoning. This can be related to wheat and dairy intolerance because mercury inhibits DPP-IV, the main enzyme needed to digest these foods.

Heavy metals don't show up on regular tests until it is provoked out of the body with a chelating agent. I wasted money on one blood test before finding another doctor who did a urine test properly.

Reply:the best kind is axe stick ived used it for years and i never have sweaty shoulders and all the girls love it it smells very good
Reply:Hi there.

Over the past few years I found that I was sweating non-stop, even when the weather wasn't even hot! I recently tried a product that you can purchase at the chemist called 'DRICLOR' (rrp $19.99 aus).

I have found this to help so much. I dont have those embarissing sweat marks any more. It's great. I really recommend trying it. It is a roll on, you apply it every night for about 2 weeks then less ofter (mayb once a week).

Does sound a bit costy but it really is worth it. Im just upset that i didnt find out about this product until later.
Reply:Next time you are going to purchase a deodorant, check the label and be sure that it reads "deodorant - anti perspirant". It's listed on the front of the package in small letters just below the product name. There is a big difference.
Reply:I was like that too, I tried allot of things but the best one I found was Speed Stick antiperspirant not the deodorant type the white solid kind. Also try leaving some in your locker so you can use it during the day. Also try wearing a t-shirt under your regular shirt.
Reply:OK, deodorant does not stop you from sweating, antiperspirant will limit the amount you sweat, but nothing eliminates it completely short of inactivity in a cool comfortable room.
Reply:the spray on kind
Reply:degree, my bf sweats alllot and he uses it and hes better now
Reply:i just axe it works really well.
