Why do iget allergic reactions with Deodorant?

I don't know why but most of the time when i apply deodorant i start to get rash's around that area.

What can i do to stop it or is there any other deodorant thats allergy free?

Why do iget allergic reactions with Deodorant?
my boyfriend would itch and it would burn. he now uses mitchem. i thinks it's a dollar or 2 more, but well worth it.
Reply:This have never happened to me personally but i think you could try using the unscented it works just as well but it might be the chemicals used to make the fragrence thats bothering your skin.

Hope I Helped
Reply:There is an aluminum free deodorant, which you can buy in most drug stores called 'Toms' which is very good, and doesn't cause any reactions
Reply:I had the same trouble. In my case the deodorant that i was using had too much alcohol in it. I would agree with your other answer and say Mitchum as this worked for me. It might also help to steer clear of the deodorants that are perfumed. Good Luck
Reply:It's not the deodorant itself that gives you the reaction, it's likely the added fragrance causing the irritation (often in the form of red, itchy, pimply-type areas under the arm).

There are hypo-allergenic deodorants available, but they are sometimes more expensive than the normal kinds you buy at the store.

It is likely that you aren't allergic to ALL deodorants, and that you can find one that does not irritate your skin.

You could also go to an allergist and get tested to determine what it is you are allergic to (which may be helpful for more than just answering "what deodorant can I wear").
