What's the best deodorant?

What's the best brand of deodorant that's clear, and controls sweat really well? .....and smells good. Oh and where can you buy it at?

What's the best deodorant?
i sweat terrible but have found soft and dri to be the best. i use the clear gel.
Reply:lady speed works for me
Reply:Secret! Ilove it cuz it stays on long and has different types of smells!
Reply:dove is what works for me-- it smells good and it makes your skin really smooth
Reply:Ban, and you can buy it at wal-mart.
Reply:Save money and buy SUAVE deodorant (and other products). I find them to be just as good as ANY other name brand. They can also be found at Walmart and most major drug stores... but cheaper at Walmart.
Reply:Soft and dry Gel is really good. It's clear and it never ever shows on cloths or on skin. It's a fresh smell in baby powder or some other soft scents.you can but it anywhere and it's not expensive at all.
Reply:Lady's choice shower fresh

walmart about 1.50 and works very well
Reply:I really like Avon's Skin So Soft, Soft and Sensual. It smells really nice.
Reply:SECRET.
Reply:I wear Secret...IMO, nothing beats it!
Reply:expensive ****
Reply:Dove deodorant iis the best i use it
Reply:Secret the peach kind, it smells good and lasts long.

Reply:secret platinum protection

you can buy it just about anywhere
Reply:Dove, it's hands down the best. but I would suggest treating your deoderant like shampoo, and change it up every few months.
Reply:personally i love Dove and Secret!
Reply:Secret Platinum
Reply:the best deodorant is gilletti
Reply:Dove Powder Scent it smell really good, it controls sweat, and its cheap. You can buy it at any local store that sell hygiene products.(i.e. Walgreen, Schnucks, Family Dollar, or maybe your local corner store.)
Reply:The best deodorant is different for everyone, I think BAN is a really good one, it smells really good and you can buy it at SAV-ON, or any drug store, it also sells at K-mart, Wal-mart, or any other mart =] haha
Reply:I always buy the Blue Ralph Lauren Polo Deodorant, which is enriched with vitamins and alcohol free. It has a very nice aroma smell that leaves you wanting for more, I been using this product for 5 years now, and that is the only deodorant I buy. The Only thing is it is very pricy, Just for one will cost you from $14-$20 dollars at any department store, stay away from Dept store and go to Fragance stores where they are a bit cheaper. but hey its worth smelling good.
Reply:the best deodorant is SECRET you can buy it anywhere

What is the best women's clear deodorant?

I am going out for New Year's Eve, and I obviously do not want to get deodorant all over it. Is there any clear deodorant that provides good protection against sweat and odor? I am going to be dancing a lot!

What is the best women's clear deodorant?
I say DOVE ORIGINAL CLEAN INVISIBLE SOLID. Works Really Great, smells nice, and makes your skin soft, not flaky like some other products.
Reply:Secret. The gel kind. My favorite scent is either Ocean Breeze or Glacier Mist.
Reply:I like the Degree for women in powder scent. It says something to the effect of safe for little black dress on it.
Reply:I have used Mitchum's for years...it gets my vote.
Reply:Arrid clear gel in powder scent
Reply:Secret Clear Gels are the best.

How do you remove deodorant residue/build-up from clothes?

I wear a lot of black clothes and a deodorant I tried that claims to "not leave any residue" did just that, so now I got white areas under the sleeves of my black and dark-colored shirts (nice!). Any suggestions on how to safely remove it without having to burn, tear, cut, slash or damage the piece of clothing?

How do you remove deodorant residue/build-up from clothes?
Saturate the area with undiluted white vinegar. Rub or scrub gently to make sure the vinegar is absorbed into the fabric. The deodorant is moisture resistant, so it tends to block absorption. Let the vinegar stay on for a few hours or overnight. Then try rinsing--you should see the residue has loosened up. Now launder your shirt in the washer on the normal cycle you use. Hang to air dry, and check the area to see if you need to give it another vinegar soak. You should be aware that drying clothes in the hot air of the dryer tends to set stains, so make sure you treat all your clothes and are happy with the result before drying them in the dryer.
Reply:use vinegar
Reply:i just use a wet washcloth to remove deodorant marks from my clothes.

What is a good deodorant because i have a friend of mine she tried?

secret degree but even dough she showers and put the deodorant she still have a little of smell in her armpit what is wrong because i don't understand this is not like she does not shower i just don't understand it what do you suggest is it because she sweats allot from her armpits what is the reason not right away dough she have to like sweat a little and then you kind of smell it is this normal

What is a good deodorant because i have a friend of mine she tried?
Maybe she has dough on her??
Reply:She needs to use the clinical ones. I really recommend Secret. I use secret all though it is not the clinical one and it's the only deodorant/antiperspirants I can use without a rash. If that doesn't work she needs to go the doctor for prescribed one that will definitely work.
Reply:secret clinical strength
Reply:secret came out with one called clinical srength, it works well for people who sweat alot
Reply:If she sweats a lot try to use STIEFEL DRICLOR. It reduces excessive sweating. It's a bit expensive though. A cheaper alternative is B+DRIER

You can also try Walgreens Extra Dry.
Reply:I have always had good luck with Dove. She can also use Secret clinical strength. Make sure she is getting an antiperspirant/deodorant not just a deodorant. It makes a big difference with us heavy sweaters!
Reply:secret clinical strength or mitchum

What is the best deodorant for people who really sweat alot, but nothing that smells too perfumey.?

I sweat alot. especially during school. but i even sweat when i'm not hot, but just all the time. i need a really good deodorant that keeps me dry.=] thanks alot.

What is the best deodorant for people who really sweat alot, but nothing that smells too perfumey.?
i have a similiar problem i use secret platium it's the best i stay clean and dry all day. You can also go to the dermatologist and they can prescribe you a medicated deodorant, i used drysol for awhile it really worked.
Reply:Maybe part of your problem is that you are using 'deodorant' instead of 'anti-perspirant'. There IS a difference.

Deodorant does not try and prevent the body from sweating, it only tries to control the smell...Anti-perspirant does excactly that, it tries to block your sweat glands and prevent the sweating from happening all together.

Take a closer look at the packaging next time you selecting a brand/type. You'll notice that most brands come in both a deodorant and an anti-perspirant. Experiment with the different types...Good luck.
Reply:I like all deodarents from Ban..
Reply:Wow very good question, I use Dove the original scent, and it works very well. Maybe you should just go to the store and check some and read the labels. Or you can always go to the doctor, and he/she will suggest something for you maybe even prescribe something!
Reply:I find that Dove solid stick deodorant is good. I have a problem with sweating a whole lot too, and with this I don't smell, it isn't perfumy, and it has moisturizers in it.
Reply:Well either Dove deodrant can be very effective, or use Mitchum it works for up to 48 hours, and smells quite nice.

This is probably the best option.
Reply:I had this problem so i had to put on A LOT of deodorant and this was bad because every deodorant that i used gave me rashes EXCEPT Arm and Hammer. This one lasts sooooooooo long after gym in school i stay smelling clean and fresh. You should definitely get it

BELIEVE ME i sweat a lot and this really helped you should buy it its cheap
Reply:well i use two,

i use one thats lady speed stick and the other is i forgot, but the trick is to find one or two that work together
Reply:I have that problem too, especially when I'm in small spaces. What I've found to work best is secret clear gel and it comes in scented and non scented .

Reply:Mitchum...I have problems perspiration and the only thing that helps me is mitchum. I have been using it for years and I don't have cancer. Ethical people, what kind of cruelty-free deodorant do you use?

I would like to know what everyone uses. Right now I am using the Kiss My Face Liquid Rock but I don't like it so much. I did have a Thai Deodorant stone that I loved but it broke and I haven't ordered a new one yet. What's your favorite deodorant that is free from animal-testing and weird chemicals?

Ethical people, what kind of cruelty-free deodorant do you use?
Whoa. Personal question! (kidding...)

I used to use a Thai Crystal Deodorant Stone, but after awhile it seemed like it became less effective. I use JASON Fragrance Free Deodorant Stick now.

What is the best deodorant to use that won't leave any stains on your clothes and won't darken your skin?

deodorant for men(suited best for asian skin) is the one i am referring to...

What is the best deodorant to use that won't leave any stains on your clothes and won't darken your skin?
I use Mitchum Cool Dry and Smart Solid. They are water-based, wax-free deodorant, so they don't give you the sticky feeling when you rub them on. They feel just like water. They don't leave any stain.

Look for water-based, wax-free formula.

They may be female deodorant. However, Asians don't sweat as much as Caucasians, so they should work fine for Asian men. (I assume you're talking about East Asian skin.)
Reply:nivea extra whitening deodorant do not leaves any stains. it is a roll-on.and it reduces the darkening of underarms skin,

i am using it for last 3 months.and it worked greattttttt.my underarms are now clean and complexion is improves.

What is a good deodorant for girls?

my 8 yr old is starting to smell on days of heavy excersise, like P.E. days at school and playing outside on weekends. What is a good gentle deodorant for her? Sweating is not a real issue, just smell.

What is a good deodorant for girls?
try some secret solids for her. they smell good and she will probably like the scents and she can choose them herself.

Is roll-on a girl thing? I ask my daughter to p/u brut deodorant when she was at the store. She brought home r/o. I haven't used r/o all my life. And she said she uses nothing but,r/o

Roll=on or spray deodorant?
Yeah I like roll on
Reply:I find roll-on seems to last longer as i am very sweaty in the Florida heat and I still can feel the freshness as the spray seems to actually seem to roll off with the sweat
Reply:You should use stick, because it doesnt really get everywhere..you can use the jelly stick or the solid ones :]
Reply:No. I prefer the stick. I hate roll on, it is too moist and I hate the spray. It gets into my eyes.
Reply:Its not an only girl thing. guys can use it too. Maybe you just like spray an she likes roll on..lol...no biggie.

What is the best deodorant total prevent sweating?
I have always had good luck with "Degree Total"........

Hope this helps.........

Good Luck and Have Fun...........................
Reply:old spice helped me lol.
Reply:Look for Givenchy deodorant, It may be expensive but the effect last and the bottle also last.
Reply:Degree Ultra Dry - Sec for MEN.
Reply:CAUTION : Never use any type of deoderant with "Aluminum" as an ingrediant !!

Those deoderants have been proven to cause mental and emotional probles such as "Dementia" with extended use ....

I'd suggest using Mennen Speed Stick in a clear like container .... NO Aluminum .....

As an alternative to deoderant ; try just using a body powder with cornstarch and baking soda as the ingrediants .... A doctor suggested this to me as I had problems with getting a rash after using deoderants with aluminum ....
Reply:What you want is an antiperspirant. Degree works best but if i doesn't you can get a prescription one, they only cost about $10 which is worth it.

What is with my deodorant/antiperspirant?

I'm a girl...

I use the normal dove deodorant/antiperspirant.

It worked for me and then it just stopped.

LOTS OF SWEAT.

What is with my deodorant/antiperspirant?
probably, dove changed the ingredients or your hormones changed and your sweat glands got stronger. try a different deodorant
Reply:That happens to me, I don't know why. I just switch brands. I used to go between dove, secret and suave. I've been using adidas for women. Haven't had that problem since
Reply:oh yeah?
Reply:If you sweat a lot you might want to try a deodorant made from salt crystal. It's a little more expensive but some say it doesn't clog your pores as much, and offers better protection.
Reply:This happens to me sometimes. It seems like my body will all of a sudden become imune to my current deoderant. I just switch brands when that happens and that usually takes care of it. Happens about every year or so. Hope I don't run out of brands to switch to! :)

Seriously, try just switching brands. There are deos for women that are for super sweaters too. Good luck!

Do you put on deodorant AND cologne / perfume at the same time?

If yes, what if it smells different? I always put on either or...but what if I put on both at the same time...will it make a weird smell when combined? I mean, the deodorant is only under my armpits and the cologne is on my neck, so...

Do you put on deodorant AND cologne / perfume at the same time?
no i do it all the time... perfume %26amp; deodorant at the same time... it never smells weird.. i always get compliments on smelling good :).. you should alwaysssss wear deodorant though!

if for some reason u do put em on at the same time and it smells kinda funky

u can always do a rly nice smelling perfume but a fragrant free deoderant.. i know tat the Secret deoderant has one ta has no smell at all
Reply:I use odorless deodorant, so that when I chose to wear cologne it won't affect the smell. I spray my shirt or jacket in case someone is allergic to the fragrance. Also you really don't want to spray cologne or perfume (for the ladies you meet ) directly to the skin, both cologne and perfume are made with a special ingredient which comes from an oxen's urine

You apply it at bedtime,

and in the morning you can apply normal deoderant if you wish, (but you don't need to)

It helps ALOT,

I had a really bad problem with that too.

You may still sweat a LITTLE cause I still do, but ALOT less.

And some people i know use it too, and they love it and they don't sweat at all.

Or you can get prescription,

but try this first, it helps alott.

(oh yeah and they sell it at alot of places, like Target and walmart, and alot of other random drug stores)
Reply:Yes. some stronger deodorants are available without prescription. one it's called Drysol and you can get it at the pharmacy counter. Shoppers Drug Mart has it and it's about $15
Reply:You're using deodorant which is good but you're probably in need of a STRONG ANTI-PERSPIRANT. They are labeled differently.

It took a long time for me to figure out the difference but the products are pretty well labeled. I use an aerosol can and I use it right after I towel off from a shower.

Solutions for sweating when deodorant doesnt work??

how do you stop from sweating?? brands of deodorant that REALLY work/other solutions would be helpful

Solutions for sweating when deodorant doesnt work??
I have the same problem. You can get botox injections in your armpits and it will stop the excessive sweating. See a dermatologist.
Reply:Ask your doctor about aluminum chloride. I use it and it is awesome, I never used to be able to wear any tight fitting shirts for shirts that change color shade when wet, but now I can wear what ever I want and not worry.
Reply:Try a new deodarant in case you have become immune the the one you have been using. Everyone is different in what works best.
Reply:how about bath or baby powder
Reply:Have you tried Certain Dri? It is kind of like a depodorant but not completly....You put it on a night and it shrinks your sweat pores, causing you to sweat less during the day. Then just use your regular deodorant in the morning. It really works!!!
Reply:nothing works.sorry.
Reply:Sure deodorant works like a charm for me, it's for both sexes and has no smell, only freshness. Good luck!!!
Reply:you don't want to stop sweating. Sweat cools of your system when you overheat. Taking numerous showers, staying in cooler environments, and reducing weight, all might help.

Ladies, whats is the best brand of deodorant you used until now?
well if you have problems with your dark underarm then there is a simple solution how to whiten your armpit...try diana stalder products the underarm whitening peeling set and their products are very effective. In just 7 days you will see the result and it really whitens it and if you want use the whitening roll on from diana stalder. If you don’t want the set then you can just get the diana stalder authentic packaging whitening roll-on deodorant for $9 and you can save money because it you can use it for over 2 months than buying a whitening cream it will last only a week or two weeks. Their products are very well known in the philippines and also all over the world...please check customers testimonials...Always check the price before buying and buy something that you can afford and that will last for a long time…Please check the customers good feedbacks about the whitening underarm…

Best shampoo/ conditioner, toothpaste, deodorant?

i have about medium length hair, naturally straight (even though sometimes it has kind of a wave, but maybe its just from my pony tail) i wash it everyday because if i dont the next day it will be oily (mostly on top), and i use shampoo and conditioner. so whtas the best shampoo/conditioner?

whats the best toothpaste to use and do any of them actually whiten your teeth?

and...whats the best deodorant to use (if there is any)..i kind of sweat a lot sometimes...but not too much (i dont really know how to explain it)

thanks for the answers

Best shampoo/ conditioner, toothpaste, deodorant?
Your hair sounds kind of like mine, except mine is EXTREMELY thick. But anyhow, I've tried a ton of shampoos and conditioners and I would have to say my favorite is Aussie. Their three-minute miracle is a conditioner that really silkens my hair, but doesn't leave it oily. And they have a ton of products for any kind of hair. Suave -- sucks.. Sorry to say that, but no good. Pantene is also another good one. Their time renewal works good for split ends, but it costs like 5$ for 8oz.

As for deodorant, I've found that dove, is often too lotiony and leaves me really silky, but not smell-free. Secret Platinum spells good, but usually doesn't stop the sweating. I prefer the Adidas for women, or a higher priced deodorant if you're having problems with the cheapo ones. They might cost a little more, but often times.. they're worth it.

Toothpaste: Crest: Refreshing Vanilla Mint- tastes okay and whitens teeth!

Deodorant: Secret or ArridXX- fab stuff!
Reply:well, i have very volumous hair, but my guess would be to use a good volumizing shampoo. i use the john frieda brilliant brunette. i dont know if they have a volumizing shampoo, but it wouldn't hurt to look. i use the pantene pro-v daily moisturizing conditioner. again, you may want to use a volumizing one. as for the toothpaste, i use crest whitening expressions..the vanilla kind. i used to brush my teeth only once a day, but i've started doing it twice or more a day, and it really does seem to help whiten them. and as for the deodorant, i have like the exact same problem. secret just came out with a new clinical strength deodorant. i have yet to try it, but it will be the next one i buy. for me, dove worked horribly. so far, the best one i can find is secret. hope i could help. :)
Reply:I absolutely love Avalon Natural Products Hair Elixirs! I use the Biotin B-Complex Shampoo and the Awupai Mango Conditioner. They are all natural and organic, and my hair looks gorgeous after using them.

Pantene shampoo and conditioner

Colgate Tarter Control dipped in Baking Soda (my dentist recommended)

Adidas for women antiperspirant/deodorant
Reply:Feddrick Fekkai or Pureology (for hair), Go Smile (whitening toothpaste), and Michtem for Woman Gel (Deoderant).
Reply:Best shampoo and conditioner would be Vidal Sassoon. It keeps the hair oil-free. I also need to wash my hair evryday and not many shampoo can be used evryday wifout damaging the hair.

Toothpaste would be Colgate Total 12 Hour Protection. It gives me a sense of security that evrything's taken care.

Deodorant would be Polo Ralph Lauren.

Good day!
Reply:♥ The best shampoo and conditioner i've ever used is Pantene Pro-V. There are a bunch of different kinds, so you can just pick the one that you need for your hair.

♥ I don't know about toothpastes. I use Crest Sensitivity b/c I have MAJORLY sensitive teeth. It seems to work pretty well. But I've used Crest whitening toothpastes and they don't seem to work, but I don't know.

♥ The best deodorant is Mitchum. I have a bad sweating problem, too, and Mitchum is the only thing that has worked so far.

Hope these worked for you, they work for me!!

What is a great deodorant for sensitive skin?

I've tried Tom's of Maine and it gave me a terrible burning sensation that took a while to go away. Right now I'm using the deodorant crystal but I start to smell after a few hours.

Have you ever heard of the crystal body deodorant? Try this link...

Hope this helps.
Reply:If you have a Trader Joe's store in your area they have a great deoderant that is all natural and not sticky or smelly. The only one that I can use! Blue and white packaging and says (with cotton) on front.
Reply:try the olay stuffs, it really moisturizes.....

it works..
Reply:i have very sensitive skin too.try using jason deo with aloe vera.yes you will strill perspire but not as much.and when you do it doesn't feel so sweaty.it feels like you applied moisturizer instead of deo.
Reply:I know you are a male, but don't despair! Dove deo. is the absolute best for sensitive skin. If you're too manly to buy it for yourself, ask a female freind or family member to get it for you. make sure you use dove unscented, for sensitive skin. it will really help. if you still have an odor problem, see a doctor, as you may have a different problem.
Reply:Dove with vitamins. Dove soaps are meant for people with sensative skin. The deoderant is really soft and give moisture also.

Best and most effective deodorant ingredient?

Everytime I go to the drugstore there are so many different types of deodorant, each with a different ingredient and percentage that I end up buying the same kind everytime. I am not completely unhappy with my Secret Platinum solid with Aluminum Zirconium Trichlorohydrex GLY 19% (Anhydrous), but always feel that it doesn't do justice.

Between all the different ones, which is the most effective ingredient?

Best and most effective deodorant ingredient?
You should try the new deodorant by Secret, its called Secret Clinical Strength. www.secret.com
Reply:I don't know about the ingredients of deoderant. But Arm n Hamor is the most effective and keeps you smellin fresh all through the day. The gel kinds never work. Make sure its powder. good luck

I am allergic to deodorant, what alternatives are there?

I am allergic to roll-ons, deodorant sprays and perfume....can anybody suggest any alternatives that I can use. right now I have to spray perfume on my clothes and let them dry before wearing them....but it doesn't take care of my armpits.

I am allergic to deodorant, what alternatives are there?
Try finding out what ingridient it is that you are allergic too, and then look for a product without that ingridient. If you need to find out which ingrident it is that you are allergic too, go in for allergy testing (and bring a copy of the ingridient lists from some of the products you have had reactions to). You may be able to get a special product from a dermatologist, or you may be able to find a product in a natural foods store that does not contain what you are allergic to. In the meantime, you can try washing your underarms every morning, and then wiping them with isopropyl alcohol, which kills bacteria.
Reply:Ok they do sell deorodant for sensity skin, I have sensitive skin and I use MItchum, another option u can try baby powder with cornstarch, It suck up the moisture and keeps u dry. However you might want to then apply it atleast twice a day or just shower with a bodywash with oatmeal twice a day. That works for my mother she is allergic to a lots of things. I hope you try this because it does works.
Reply:I have been using a great product called Lavilin. It's all natural so it shouldn't irritate you and it works too. It cost a little more but it's worth it, one application can last for most of the week even after showers, so it goes a long way. I started using it over a year ago and I am only on my second container. They also make a foot deoderant so be sure you get the right one.

Deodorant Crystals are good too, but they don't last as long. I keep a Crystal spray mist to use when I can't use the Lavilin.

You can find Lavilin at health food stores and a few super markets or online. I've been through a lot of deoderants and this is the best I have tried.
Reply:Go natural.

Coach
Reply:Try making a paste with baking soda and water.
Reply:just put soap on really good and soap that smells really good
Reply:Ultra frequent showers or torso sponge baths.

Alternately, you can just stop being obsessed with BO's. Europe is quite as civilised as the US, but our consumption of deo and related products is much less. We are no less cleanly, we just are used to living with our bodies as god made them, sweat and smelly bits included.
Reply:perfume
Reply:Try Soap. Plain Soap. The ones with no fragrances since deoderants and perfume have fragrances.
Reply:So am I! I use Crystal Stick Body Deodorant. It comes in crystal form, just rub it anywhere you need odor control. it is a natural product, no chemicals, no aluminum chlorohydrate, non sticky, fragrance free.

I purchase it from the health food store.

Simply alcohol also works, just spray it on, let it try. No odor, stains or irritation.
Reply:Try natural deodorants that you can buy in the health food stores. Thats what I use because I didn't want all the chemicals on my body.
Reply:You need to visit a doctor they perscribe a special alternative for you and see if it is the ingrediants in the deordant that you are allegric to so that you can find a deodorant that doesn't contain the same things Also try putting powder under your arms
Reply:Are you allergic to all deodorants?? or just something IN some of them? Like alcohol or something. I have sensitive skin, and I can't use the ones with perfume or alcohol. Try going to a drugstore and ask for one with no perfume and alcohol, maybe one with aloe vera or something else organic(ofcourse if that is not what you're reacting too). If you've allready tried that, I'm not sure what to do. The doctor can do tests to determine what you're allergic to, and a dhermatologist may give advise to what you can to.
Reply:i would say put shampu on it when you take a shower and wear that for the rest of the day
Reply:Well, for now, use some baking soda. You obviously can't wear tank tops when you do this, but it will keep you fairly dry and smelling good. You will need to reapply often.

Go do a doctor to ask for a prescription deodorant. You are not the only one like this out there, and I'm sure there are prescriptions for you. (I have a friend on on, but for a different reason.)

What is the best deodorant?

I sweat a lot and I ALWAYS have pit stains. Whenever I try a new deodorant it works for a few days and then it starts not working. What kind will always work? PLEASE HELP..

What is the best deodorant?
I think secret is the best deodorant
Reply:Well, if you sweat alot, then my advice is probably not good for you. I NEVER use deodorant. I take frequent showers to stay clean, always at least once a day, sometimes as many as three or four. (always after working out).

But then, I don't sweat alot, like some pepole do.

My sex partners are very aroused by the pheremones that I have, and love to nestle in my armpit when we are in bed together. Also, I hate to be with a woman who has lots of perfume or deodorant. I much prefer her natural smell to artificial overwhelming odors.
Reply:Mitchum for women. it is great....hasn't failed me yet.
Reply:I use to use Adidas but I noticed that it didn't really help. So I switched to Dove %26amp; it works great.
Reply:I use ban, Adidas, and Dove 1/3 powder;; dove works the best for me because the baby powder helps absorb oders %26amp; sweat make sure u r using antiperpirant

My son just ate deodorant.. how bad is it?

My son took a good chunk of deodorant and swalloed it. He seems fine now i had him drink alot of water... i just wanted to know if anyone knows if it's really serious or if theres a specific ingredient in it that i should watch out for... it says on the label to seek medical attention immediately but he's acting fine other than the really strong Dove Smell Breath... any advice? thank you.

Call the poisen controll hotline at 18003764766. We have had to call it tons of times since having children.
Reply:I'm sure he will be fine. It wasn't medicine or poison. Kids will be kids. Keep an eye on him but don't get to worried or you will start to see symptoms that aren't there. Have a laugh. It's cute but funny.

Reply:Personally, I would take him to the ER just in case - how does he feel? Good luck to ya'll
Reply:No it is not bad but you should make him drink milk, cause its thicker. I ate a whole bottle of my dads shaving cream cause i thought it was whipped cream, and i'm fine. He'll be ok and his stomache acids will burn it up.

I need a stronger deodorant!?

Ok, I really need a stronger deodorant. I sweat a lot during class, whether it is hot or not. It is probably hormonal, seeing as it just started at the beginning of the year. I used secret and then moved up to mitchum gel, but it still doesn't work. It doesn't matter how much apply or if I hold my arms up until it dries, I still have stains by my second class. Please help!

I need a stronger deodorant!?
Try Degree or Ban.
Reply:speak to a doctor about your problem. they might know really strong deodarents. i used to have a similar problem and i switched to dove...it's worked pretty well so far. i've heard of people getting the sweat glands surgically removed, but i dont know how old you are or how much this bugs you, so i dont know your options. i'd say try dove and then see a doctor if it really doesnt help any
Reply:I know a girl that had the same problem and she used the mens mitchum......have you tried that or just the womens?
Reply:try a mens deo.
Reply:i dont think there is much u can do about that...some people just sweat more than others..u cant stop or help that
Reply:Well, sometimes it doesnt matter how strong your deoderant is. What works well for some people doesnt work for others. Try some different ones. You could get the little travel size ones and if one kind doesnt work for you, throw it out and try a new one. But if it seems like nothing is working, then you should ask your doctor.
Reply:Degree and Dove works really good.
Reply:i know the feeling %26amp; smell it happens alot. the problem isnt deotarant. i got this advise from a sppecialist. the hair that you gt under ur airpit cause the smell even worse. sometimes you dont have hair and your pours are opened so the sweat is smellier. dont worry ive gone through it too(alot). everyday when you get home wash it with soap and water. it helps alot.

but everyday so the smell wont be as bad. tell ya the truth im almost stink free!! lol

wish ya the best of luck

Reply:you can either go to your doctor and get a prescription deoderant that you put on at night before you go to bed, but that can irritate your skin.

or what works really good is the Secret Clinical Strength Deoderant.

you can find it at any drugstore or like walmart, you just put it on before you go to bed.

it works really good!
Reply:first is it deodorant you are using or anti persperint? If its deodorant the reason it isnt working is because deodorant is a cover up not something that helps you sweat less. An Anti persperint helps stop sweating. To warn you though anti persp. has aluminum in it and may cause cancer so I have heard. hope this helps
Reply:i had the same problem for the past few years!!!!!!!!! what works is certain dry. it comes in a white roll on bottle and you can get it at any drug store. you just put it on at night and it seriously helps! good luck! (you can even put it on every other night and it will help)
Reply:dove
Reply:It is hormonal. Both my daughters went through that. There is new one out called Secret Clinical. I tried it and it's really good. You can get a free sample of it. Go here:

http://walmart.triaddigital.com/enhanced...

Don't worry, you'll grow out of it. I use, and have always used Ban roll on. I don't know what it is about the roll on...but it works!
Reply:Try using using spray on Deodorant
Reply:Use Ban. It smells nice and works great. I use it for dancing.

I used to get yellow stains on my white school shirts(I am not overweight or anything), but now it blocks them. Yippee;)

Good Luck!!!!
Reply:There's a new kind called Secret Clinical I think. It's supposed to be really good.
Reply:I love Degree soft/solid. With alot of those gel deordorants they always made me feel sticky and sweat alot. Or maybe try the clinical strength Secret that just came out.
Reply:I would use deodorant and try putting baby powder over it. I prefer baby powder in the summer anyway, because it gets really really hot and humid where I live, and deodorant keeps me from stinking but not sweating. If that doesn't help your doctor may be able to prescribe you something.
Reply:Talk to a docter about your problem and contact a thererespist if that does'nt work!
Reply:try Secret platinum

or go to a doctor and get prescription strength deodarant

What is a good deodorant for a teen boy to use that doesn't smell too strong?

I'm trying to find a not soo strong smelling deodorant for my young son any suggestions? Thank you!

What is a good deodorant for a teen boy to use that doesn't smell too strong?
If he's athletic, then the Old Spice High Endurance Stuff is awesome,.. accept no substitutes as far as I'm concerned...

if not,. some kind of clear stick or gel,.. the white types are crap and too dry, and the sprays,.. well,. everyone else said it,. they are ridiculous,...
Reply:Hope I could help Report It

Reply:Whatever brand you like the most would be OK as long as you get the stick type. The sprays are much too loud. All the teens like Axe or Tag deodorant.
Reply:Nivea Men is really good, but if your sons plays alot of sports, then SURE MEN is positivly the best deodrant around. It has great 24 hr protection, and a very clean mild smell.
Reply:Gilette with the power stripe

My hubby's deoderant works so great and is mild but clean smelling, so I even started using it myself. Works better than anything else I have tried and stays clear as long as you dont cake it on.
Reply:Set Wet Nottie(crazy). It doesn't have a strong smell and it'll suite teenagers,If he's trying to impress a girl then its an even better thing.
Reply:I would say Axe, any kind, as long as it is in stick form. The spray on stuff is the bane of most peoples sense of smell. Way too overpowering. The stick on the other hand is just fine.
Reply:AXE Essence, it is the best deoderant out there.
Reply:I like the Speedstick with the dark green lid.
Reply:Degree is stick form is mild and effective even for men that perspire heavily.
Reply:try CK. good and worth

Iv'e tried every deodorant out there nothing works help!!!!?

I sweat really bad my under arms, face, the back of my neck and my back but most of the time it's just my under arms. The only times it's those other places is when I am roller blading for hours at skateland that's it. But I also hate stick deodorant and just need help. please!!!! thanks in advance.

Iv'e tried every deodorant out there nothing works help!!!!?
Sweat and Body Odor

Perspiration, or sweat, comes from sweat glands that you've always had in your body. But thanks to puberty, these glands not only become more active than before, they also begin to secrete different chemicals into the sweat that has a stronger smelling odor. You might notice this odor under your arms in your armpits. Your feet and genitals might also have new smells.

The best way to keep clean is to bathe or shower every day using a mild soap and warm water. This will help wash away any bacteria that contribute to the smells. Wearing clean clothes, socks, and underwear each day can also help you to feel clean. If you sweat a lot, you might find that shirts, T-shirts, socks, and underwear made from cotton or other natural materials will help absorb sweat more effectively.

If you're concerned about the way your underarms smell, you can try using a deodorant or deodorant with antiperspirant. Deodorants get rid of the odor of sweat by covering it up, and antiperspirants actually stop or dry up perspiration. They come in sticks, roll-ons, gels, sprays, and creams and are available at any drugstore or supermarket. All brands are similar (and ones that say they're made for a man or for a woman are similar, too, except for some perfumes that are added).

If you choose to use deodorant or antiperspirant, be sure to read the directions. Some work better if you use them at night, whereas others recommend that you put them on in the morning. But keep in mind that some teens don't need deodorants or antiperspirants. So why use them if you don't have to? Deodorant and antiperspirant commercials may try to convince you that you'll have no friends or dates if you don't use their product, but if you don't think you smell and you take daily baths or showers and wear clean clothes, you may be fine without them.
Reply:Try using lemons. But remember sweat is a good thing, it cools your body down. It might also help if you take cold showers.
Reply:did you try spray?? try real lemons i heard that works......
Reply:If you are just using deodorant you need to try using anti-perspirent / deodorant. The deodorant is just to mask the smell. The anti-perspirent helps stop the sweating.
Reply:Ban is AWESOME you would love it
Reply:Secret just introduced their Clinical Formula deodorant; I think you can get a discount coupon by mail.
Reply:It sounds like hyperhidrosis which sounds scary but really just means excessive sweating. Sometimes excessive sweating can be a symptom of a medical condition (I am NOT a doctor) so I think a trip to your family doc might not be a bad idea. They can prescribe an extra strong anti-perspirant that you can put on before bed that will help during the day. (it really works if you follow the instructions) I know all of this because when I was between 14-25 I had terrible sweating problems. I still do, but they are far less bad now that I'm 30. I've also noticed that coffee consumption makes mine worse! (more than 1 cup)

Like the other poster said, you could also try certain dri (and apply it at night before bed).

Good luck!
Reply:certain dry
Reply:use secret or degree. And if those don't work try guys deoderant maybe gillette
Reply:The sympathetic nervous system over-stimulates the sweat glands, causing the hyperhidrosis. They have this stuff called DRYSOL its a kind of lotion you will need a perscription I believe from your doctor. I have atttached a web site with information about it! Good Luck

http://www.drugstore.com/qxa1067_332828_...
Reply:Try an antiperspirant.
Reply:I have 2 possible solutions for you.

The cheap solution is --- I saw a commercial for Secret Prescription Strength. I'm not sure if it is stick or spray, but you may want to give it a try.

The expensive solution is --- Get botox injected into your underarms. It will keep the sweat glands from working. I know someone who did it and it worked like a charm! It is something that would need to be done every 6 months to a year.

Good luck!
Reply:Try anti-perspirant rather than deodorant.
Reply:use perfume
Reply:That stinks... literally! I have the same problem. I have tried a prescription called Dry-Sol but I warn you it does burn when you use it. It typically helps me and I use it every few weeks before I go to bed (only use it before bed because it can really be irritating while awake!). Also, they have approved Botox injections for sweating. I haven't done that, but I hear it works well....pricey though.
Reply:My sister has this problem. She had to go to a dermatologist and they gave her some medicine. It looks like a bingo dobber with a sponge on top that you put once every few weeks. Then you have to wrap your pits with a garbage bag or saran wrap and sleep overnit with it on. I guess you won't sweat for up to two or three weeks.

I heard Botox injections inthe armpits help stop sweating.

I also saw a comercial for a new deodorant that it supposed to be clinical strength with medication in it. One of the major brands makes it. I can't remeber if it's Ban or Secret or what, but you should look it up.
Reply:If you are at skateland, and roller blading for hours, anyone is normally giong to sweat. Youre an active person!! There is nothing wrong with you. If you have bad body oder, sweat when you stand still, and that two showers a day isn't helping then you need to see a doctor.
Reply:Me too. It sucks, especially because it is getting warmer. I have tried even the new Secret Clinical and I was sweaty by the end of the day. The only only thing I like is Certain Dri and it is sooooo harsh. It is a roller deodorant, but it dries me out for days.
Reply:lady speedy is just perfect

it is long lasting

but it is stick deodorant
Reply:Ummm i think that you should go to the doctors... even though they freak me out, but they could really help you. Also i was watching some tv and there is this new deoderent from secret that is supposed to help with the sweating. I hope that i was able to help you!

Why does unscented underarm deodorant still have a scent?

My lady speed stick deodorant never works.Suggestions??
I have used secret since I was 8 and my mom bought me my first one it really does work especially for people that sweat alot I tried degree once and it was ok but not as good and I tried Mitchum and it smells really good but it wears off quick try secret baby powder fresh...
Reply:I like degree the best, i had no luck with secret at all. I only use degree now. Report It

Reply:I use Secret Platinum and Degree but for some people it depends on which is best for their skin. Report It

Reply:The very very VERY best is a prescription, easy to get from any primary care doctor, called 'Dry-Sol'. It has the same active ingredient as Mitchum, just more concentrated. It comes in two versions, one a solution you apply with anything of your choice (like a cotton ball) or my personal favorite is the 'Dab-O-Matic' version (in a container like on liquid shoe polish--I am not making this up). For underarms, apply @ night, shower in am. Dry-Sol is especially great for people that have severely sweaty hands and/or palms, apply at night, wrap hands or feet per instructions. Later on only need do infrequently. People with REALLY serious sweating problems are more than happy to go through this hassle to be free of the daytime problems. e.g. some people with sweaty palms can't even shake someones hand %26amp; this is a godsend.

i sweat alot and hate those wet spots under my armpits on my shirts so I buy CertainDri from like Walgreens,CVS,Walmart and its like 5 bucks and u put in on before bed and It makes it wear u dont sweat under ur armpits anymore.

then wear w/e deo you want. Try it you'll love it,
Reply:I don't sweat on my arm-pits, but I have never had a problem with Secret's Cocoa Butter one. It smells really good and I don't get white marks, they also have the gel one and that may work for you. Have you tried the spray on ones? My mom has one (I believe it's called Arrid) and it's smells great plus I would think it would be better for sweaty armpits because it comes out of an aerosol can, like hairspray and hairspray is dry. I like that one also, when I was younger I would steal some from her and put some one lol Good Luck!
Reply:Everybody's body chemistry is different, so it's really tough to recommend something to someone else. Of course, showering as often as possible and keeping your armpits free of hair will help. Wearing clean clothes, etc. Just try out different brands and see what works for you. Try a sport type deodorant that is made for heavy sweating. If you're a girl, you may even try a mens' unscented type, as they are supposedly stronger.
Reply:my boyfriend has a really bad sweating problem so he would use the soft and dri spray deodorant. its in a pink bottle with a black top. he said it was the only thing that worked. i recommened it to my sister who plays sports and has the same problem and she said it worked for her too.

Soft and Dri
Reply:I actually use mens deodorant, because womens just doesn't do it for me. When it starts getting horribly hot, thats when I switch to mens... may not be something you'd be into, but it works wonders for me! I use Old Spice, haha. xD
Reply:I love to use theOn Duty 24 hour deodorant from Avon. It is so good to keep your underarms dry, and it smells good also. Try it, you may like it as much as I do. I've been using it for several years.
Reply:you have to try alot to see what works for you

i use ban, and swave..or however you spell it
Reply:Heres a tip that works for me but might not work for others. When I use anti-perspirant I sweat like crazy and get those huge pit rings. When I use regular deodorant I end up barely sweating at all!!
Reply:is it for a guy or a girl?

as for white marks stay away from solids they are the ones that tend to leave the marks...
Reply:A gel type deodorant like speed stick 24/7 is clear a nd unnoticable. Works all day and keeps you fresh!
Reply:try the charlie series - they smell FANTASTIC!
Reply:Dove is the best.
Reply:imma guy so i would say ax

When I wear deodorant/anti-perspirant I sweat more!! Does anyone else have this problem?

I can't wear deodorant/anti-perspirant anymore, 'cuz when I do, I sweat even more!! I know this sounds crazy, but it's true!Help! Any suggestions??

When I wear deodorant/anti-perspirant I sweat more!! Does anyone else have this problem?
Same here too but I must admit Secret works a little beter for me..but i still sweat.uuugh!
Reply:Your body may be trying to get rid of all the chemicals that are in the deodorants that you use. I had that before and switched to a natural product without chemicals. I had to try different manufactures before I found the one that worked for me and I liked. Switching deodorants is also a process, the body needs to get used to the new product. Soaking in a bath tub with sea salt may speed up the process of getting rid of the chemicals that entered the system with the previous deodorants. I hope that helps.
Reply:I have the same problem. Look for something called Mitchums. It's very good. It's the only thing I have ever been able to find that will actually stop me sweating. Try not to use anti-perspirants if you can help it. If you can't find Mitchums, use hygiene wipes (or make-up wipes) under your armpits with a low acidic deodorant afterward, it works just as well.
Reply:There is something in the deodorant that is rubbing off on your shirt/ clothing that makes it seem like you are sweating more. Try degree prescription strength. It works great for me and you can get it at the store without a prescription.
Reply:Ok I've always had this problem, about 2 weeks ago i started using Degree body responsive antiperspirant for women and I don't sweat at all!!!

Try it!
Reply:i KNOW! thanx for asking this question, btw.
Reply:same here

skin rash

Has soap, or deodorant ever put a rash under your armpits ?

I got alot of stupid answers to this question, when I posted it last time. I don't want to hear anything about ring worms, diabetes, or seeing the doctor.

I've been using a new dove exfoliating soap for the first time, so maybe that's the cause ...

In the area, where deodorant spreads, If you know what I mean. ( anyway, I just looked at it, it's really not that bad )

This question isn't worth asking, If I'm going to get stupid responses again. I just wanted to find someone that can relate to this small problem.

It's either my Neutrogena Acne Body Scrub, the Dove exfoliating soap, or this new kind of Old Spice I've been using.

Maybe all 3, what do you think ?

I might of made my question sound harsh the last time I asked about this, because I said " dark rings "

It's not really a dark ring under each armpit, it's kind of like a light shadow that I can barely notice.

What exactly is this ?

I'm sure someone knows !

Has soap, or deodorant ever put a rash under your armpits ?
maybe ur using way to many products and one of them ur body doesnt like...or maybe its the heat i dont know where u live so all i can say is try using only one product or just try IVORY it gentle...
Reply:It sounds like you are having an allergic reaction to some of the ingredients in the soap. Another possibility is a heat rash. Without knowing all the details of your condition it is hard to provide a logical answer.

My suggestion is to first stop using any new products that you just started using and only use what you used in the past that didn't bother your skin before. Wait until your skin clears up then reintroduce each product one at a time and only one a week to determine which is the culprit.

If you stop all the new products and the it doesn't clear up after a week then go see a doctor it could be something else that requires medical strength creams.

Good Luck
Reply:If you're using all three at once, you could be allergic to the chemical reaction of these three products together.

If you're using the Dove Exfoliating soap for the first time and that's when you started getting it, then stop using it. It might just be THAT soap.

But people these days are using so many different soaps and stuff on their bodies that the chemicals in the agents are causing skin irritation and/or reaction. Lots of those gel-type of deodorants also contain aluminum, which cause reactions/allergies (and have also been known to cause cancer or other types of weird diseases...people with sensistive kidneys shouldn't use the gel-type of deodorants).

Try using one soap, one deodorant on your armpits; that should be good enough. If it's still irritated, switch the soap but not the deodorant. Still irritated? Might be the deodorant, then. But just don't combine a whole crapload of soaps and deodorants...it's probably whay's irritating your skin (and it can be sensitive under there).

Whats the best deodorant for women?

Whats the best deodorant for women?

I've tried Degree, Dove, I am now using Secret

Whats the best deodorant for women?
The best deodorant for women is Secret. I've tried several and after years of searching, I have been very satisfied with Secret. My daughter uses it as well. It's about the only thing that I have found that will tame a 13 year's old "active" hormonal changes. I will tell you that I also know several men that use the unscented verison of Secret. They have told me that it works much better than most men's deodorants.

I hope this helps!
Reply:Mitchum by far is a much better deodorant than secret, old spice, etc. It costs a little more, but it's worth it. Works and smells great! Report It

Reply:I like Secret. Degree is ok but Dove is a waste of money if you are a hard working girl during the day!
Reply:I would say Secret or Dove.. dove is a bit more white and it tends to show and smell a little more. But, plus side is, it moisturizes your pits.
Reply:My fave is Dove.
Reply:Degree Ultra Clear is the best!! It keeps your armpits from stinking, and if you're wearing a sleveless shirt you don't get white marks all over it, or on your skin. Which is quite unattractive.
Reply:heck, if it really stinks and you cant get rid of it whatever deo u try on,. use OLD SPICE HIGH ENDURANCE. thats what i did.
Reply:I like Lady's Speed Stick. (powder scent) I've been using it for 25 plus years, and wouldn't change.
Reply:Out of those three I would go with Dove. Secret smells really good but it isn't good for sweating or itch, so it's basically pointless. Degree is great for no white marks on clothes but again, isn't great for sweating. And Dove is great for no white marks, helps with itch and sweating, and on top of that keeps the skin smooth.
Reply:Mitchum. Hands down. Its a really powerful anti-persperant. and no sweat... means no smell. I would seriously advise Mitchum
Reply:sure or radox!
Reply:i use degree. im in track and it works great for me

Does applying underarm deodorant on my feet prevent smelly cheap shoes?

I got my favorite shoes from Payless and I love it! It's the most comfortable shoes I've ever had but they stinks now...I've never had such problem before. Is it because of the cheap material or did my feet change somehow? If underarm deodorant prevents sweat and odor, I don't see why it cannot help my feet.

Does applying underarm deodorant on my feet prevent smelly cheap shoes?
Yes it does work but make sure you use one that is a dry stick formula or your feet will slide in your shoes i do this with a couple of pairs myself
Reply:If skin feels hot...it sweats to cool down.

Deodorants(wherever applied) makes the skin immune to this response,i.e, the skin does not sweat even when u feel hot.

It may stop further stinking(LOL) your shoes but will not lessen the prior contamination....so wash the shoes and resuse.check the deodorant does not cause any irritation, try wearing socks otherwise.

may god be with the ones around you!Amen!
Reply:It's proportional to the cost of the shoes. lol
Reply:IT CAN'T MAKE THEM SMELL ANY WORSE,TRY AND LET US KNOW.
Reply:They must be enclosed shoes which are not allowing your feet to breath, therefore they sweat. Try wearing a sockette, this will minimise the sweat and the smell. There are foot odour powders on the market.
Reply:it is worth a try!

Maybe the shoes don't breathe very well, and your feet get sweaty...

Girls: Did you know that Anti-perspirant and Deodorant will cause breast cancer in the long run?

Have you girls heard anything about this? If not please becareful about using too much of that stuff, especially anti-pers. It's totally unnatural to let your body stop sweating. I stop using any of anti-pers/deodorant few years ago and I never smell. Think about the old days when there was no such thing how did our ancestors do with them deodorant/anti-pers. If you need to use go buy the natural deodorant from health store but never use anti-pers. Any feedback is welcome.

Girls: Did you know that Anti-perspirant and Deodorant will cause breast cancer in the long run?
http://www.snopes.com/medical/toxins/ant...
Reply:i use whatever doesn't make me stink and what works
Reply:Has not been determined by the CDC or any other government agency.
Reply:No, I didn't know that! Where did you get your info? People have been using deoderant for years why hasn't this been on the new? I personally don't where deoderant as often because I don't smell either, but it makes a person feel fresh and clean just by putting it on.
Reply:That is a myth someone started on the internet-and ignorant people like you help sread it. It's not true.
Reply:Well we all gonna die of something. And if we quit using anything that causes cancer we stuck with water and vegetables only.I figure if i live to 60 I'm doing OK and I'm not gonna stink while I'm here..
Reply:I read the chance of getting breast cancer with cosmetics is really low, because the substances can't accumulate enough in the breast lymph nodes. If the carcinogenic effect were true, then it would be more violent on the armpits (unless you put anti-perspirant around your nipples). BTW this problem would affect both guys ang girls!
Reply:I would like to know How using that product causes cancer? Anti-perspirant plugs the sweat pores to prevent Excess sweat while deodorant ...well I guess that is self-explanatory...It is over a small area of skin You sweat ALL OVER....It's not preventing you from sweating all together just in that one area....Yes I understand that man made chemicals are not good for the skin, ever......and yes I will believe over time it could damage your skin ...but cause cancer..I'm not sure I buy that one....But thank for your concern over my well being....
Reply:If u ask me, EVERYTHING causes cancer in the longer run...
Reply:Whoa! I soooooooo did not know that! Thank You so much! If you were here right now I would kiss you! But did you know Baking soda under your armpits help? It does!
Reply:a lot of research has been done and its not true. so don't sweat it.
Reply:Are you sure you don't "smell"? You might want to ask some of your close friends. I've heard the same about all the cancer scare. You can go one better and put hair spray on the list...Nothing has been proven. Until it is, I plan to continue using my Anti-perspirant and hairspray. Some of our "ancestors", used body powders.
Reply:My grand mother said that the products that we put on our bodies create the smells more-so than we give off smells. Your diet and stress level creates the odors you give off. I don't use deodorant, yet I hadn't heard about it causing breast cancer. Thanks for the heads up-I'll tell my 3 adult daughters and see what their feedback is.
Reply:This is all new to me. But I totally get your point!! I also have heard that an ingrediant in deoderant is linked to alzheimers as well. Weird. I don't use the crap very often either and I smell just fine. Thanks for the info!!
Reply:I use anti-perspirant and I still sweat.

There are so many things out there that are said to cause cancer. You can't stop living your life because you might get cancer. You could use all natural products all the time and still get cancer. Unfortunately its just something that happens.
Reply:Folklore... myth.

Not clinically proved.

Stop spreading crap like this unless you know what you are talking about.

Reply:Yes and I use natural deodarant without aluminum. A study in England has claimed this and it is refuted by the US medical researchers/experts...I err on the side of caution with this. One thing to add to your comment is that there is also the same link to men.
Reply:Are you French?
Reply:woah i didnt know that. thanks
Reply:I don't use deodorant at all because I don't want to get cancer. Besides, when you take a shower, who really needs it? lol. And shave pits often. Some people have a problem with armpit smell though, so if I had to use it, I would avoid antiperspirant.

:)
Reply:matthew mcconaughey doesn't use any either. or cologne. i don't know. maybe. it seems to me that since i started using deodorant/anti-pers. at all, i sweat more. could that be a bad sign?
Reply:The connection between the two is undetermined and even if it was MORE closely connected your statemetn should be "CAN cause cancer" or "MIGHT cause cancer" but certainly not "WILL cause cancer".

Why dont some people in some cultures wear deodorant?

in my class there are 7 americans and 15 foreigners and they dont wear deodorant why? when we was in class we smelled someone and us the americans all looked at eachother and then turned and looked at the foreigners and they were smelling.

I know you cant smell your own scent and when you do it doesnt bother you but d**n.

What do they have against deodorant, what deodorant do to them ?

Why dont some people in some cultures wear deodorant?
Some people can't use deodorant because they have adverse affects to it, other people just sweat a lot even when using deodorant, or maybe they have another issue like some medical problem.

Depending on their culture maybe its not something that was available to them where they came from - so why not be a nice person and talk to them about it in a polite manner and not to put them down
Reply:billy blaze wears they deordrereant
Reply:Its strange because certain cultures which I'll remain nameless have to SAME rank odor to them. I can even smell it over the powder deoderant they have on..I can only imagine what thier countries smell like.
Reply:I come across some too, I guess its something with their religion....but i wish they would make an exception, because they smell. really really bad.
Reply:stop genealizing! i know an ammerican celibrity matthew mchanughey hottie doesnt wear deoderant stop generalizing i am brazilian which my dad bought me a house in l.a i wonder what youd think of me lol i wear deoderant
Reply:not all foreigners smell bad and don't wear deodorant. There's many reasons some people don't use it. And yes some Americans don't wear deodorant either.
Reply:Americans are rare in their distate for any trace of bodily odors. Humans smell... it is a natural phenomenon. It's just another example of how far Americans are removed from "nature."

I admit though, that I'm an American, and I find body odor offensive as well. But if you walk into a room of "foreigners" smelling of shampoo, deodorant, cologne or perfume; they likely find that smell offensive. Just depends what you're used to.
Reply:being a foreigner I always try to smell like Americans ,,,cuz God forbid if I dont ,I would be kicked out of soceity... also I dont know of any single 'religion' that tells you not to use deodrants... they are available in all third world countries as well ..sorry to dissapoint you.

p.s .. why do american students just jump out of bed and come to class without even washing ,and in their pyjamas

tc
Reply:theyre jus gross lik that. Stay FAR FAR away!!!lol
Reply:It doesn't matter what your ancestry is ... things like deoderant and perfume are not natural. Society has taught us to not enjoy the natural "musk" of human smell (but then we try to copy it in perfumes and deoderants!). I suspect it goes back to when sex became a hidden issue also! If you smelled the natural odor, and acted on it .. then that was against the, at that time, trend to purity and chastity .... so the odor was disguised ... and now its just accepted as the "right" thing to do ...

I'd also like to take issue with whoever decided bras and girdles are good things! LOL ... and I bet men would feel the same towards the person who decided you have to wear a tie to be proper and smart!
