My son just ate deodorant.. how bad is it?

My son took a good chunk of deodorant and swalloed it. He seems fine now i had him drink alot of water... i just wanted to know if anyone knows if it's really serious or if theres a specific ingredient in it that i should watch out for... it says on the label to seek medical attention immediately but he's acting fine other than the really strong Dove Smell Breath... any advice? thank you.

Reply:I'm sure he will be fine. It wasn't medicine or poison. Kids will be kids. Keep an eye on him but don't get to worried or you will start to see symptoms that aren't there. Have a laugh. It's cute but funny.

Reply:No it is not bad but you should make him drink milk, cause its thicker. I ate a whole bottle of my dads shaving cream cause i thought it was whipped cream, and i'm fine. He'll be ok and his stomache acids will burn it up.

Reply:He'll be fine......my sister had the poison control number memorized........there was NOTHING that my niece would not eat. she ate deodorant a few times.........not a lot, but my sis would keep finding teeth marks in the stick. she ate chapstick, lotion, powder........yuck. you would think these things would taste gross to a child.......


thankfully she grew out of this by the time she was 3 or so.
