Has soap, or deodorant ever put a rash under your armpits ?

I got alot of stupid answers to this question, when I posted it last time. I don't want to hear anything about ring worms, diabetes, or seeing the doctor.

I've been using a new dove exfoliating soap for the first time, so maybe that's the cause ...

In the area, where deodorant spreads, If you know what I mean. ( anyway, I just looked at it, it's really not that bad )

This question isn't worth asking, If I'm going to get stupid responses again. I just wanted to find someone that can relate to this small problem.

It's either my Neutrogena Acne Body Scrub, the Dove exfoliating soap, or this new kind of Old Spice I've been using.

Maybe all 3, what do you think ?

I might of made my question sound harsh the last time I asked about this, because I said " dark rings "

It's not really a dark ring under each armpit, it's kind of like a light shadow that I can barely notice.

What exactly is this ?

I'm sure someone knows !

Has soap, or deodorant ever put a rash under your armpits ?
maybe ur using way to many products and one of them ur body doesnt like...or maybe its the heat i dont know where u live so all i can say is try using only one product or just try IVORY it gentle...
Reply:It sounds like you are having an allergic reaction to some of the ingredients in the soap. Another possibility is a heat rash. Without knowing all the details of your condition it is hard to provide a logical answer.

My suggestion is to first stop using any new products that you just started using and only use what you used in the past that didn't bother your skin before. Wait until your skin clears up then reintroduce each product one at a time and only one a week to determine which is the culprit.

If you stop all the new products and the it doesn't clear up after a week then go see a doctor it could be something else that requires medical strength creams.

Good Luck
Reply:If you're using all three at once, you could be allergic to the chemical reaction of these three products together.

If you're using the Dove Exfoliating soap for the first time and that's when you started getting it, then stop using it. It might just be THAT soap.

But people these days are using so many different soaps and stuff on their bodies that the chemicals in the agents are causing skin irritation and/or reaction. Lots of those gel-type of deodorants also contain aluminum, which cause reactions/allergies (and have also been known to cause cancer or other types of weird diseases...people with sensistive kidneys shouldn't use the gel-type of deodorants).

Try using one soap, one deodorant on your armpits; that should be good enough. If it's still irritated, switch the soap but not the deodorant. Still irritated? Might be the deodorant, then. But just don't combine a whole crapload of soaps and deodorants...it's probably whay's irritating your skin (and it can be sensitive under there).
