What are some really good deodorant brands?

What are some really good deodorant, anti-perspirant, and absorbants brands? Guy and girl brands.

What are some really good deodorant brands?
Mitchum-non-scented. You don't perspire at all. It's absolutely great.
Reply:Why do you stink real bad try old spice wrks 4 me I stink too even after I shower
Reply:I use Secret brand.
Reply:Dove, Secret and for guys is old spice lol
Reply:Addias and Axe
Reply:Crystal Body Deodorant Stick 5-6.00 in Walmart

Deodorant Crystals - also known as Deodorant Stones - really do work. They simply kill odor causing bacteria and further inhibit the growth of bacteria as the day wears on. Bacterial growth is the cause of body odor. An invisible barrier of protection keeps you feeling fresh and clean all day long.
Reply:old spice
Reply:Mitchums Powder Fresh is brilliant - love the smell and it really works. Also not at all expensive.
Reply:Certain Dri and Mitchums are the best if you perspire heavily. Make sure your deodorant is also an anti-perspirant.
Reply:my mom has serious issues with sweating and she uses mitchum - it really works good.
Reply:I like Lady Speed Stick, the one that doesn't leave a white residue.
Reply:secret or dove
Reply:Dove and Nivea and sure (the 1 with the tick)

Guys: Gilette (yup there is such thing), Linx?, Dove again, allspice
Reply:Mitchum it even says on the wrapper "So effective you could skip a day." I have really sensitive skin and it's all I can use without breaking out in a rash. Plus back in the 50's you could only get it by prescription so I'd say it's the best! They make it for both Men and Women, scented or unscented and in clear gel so you don't get white stuff on your clothes.
Reply:adidas and natural
Reply:dove antiperspirant and deodorant
Reply:dove
Reply:hey stinky! sure's a good brand, soo is lynx or just plain ole fastioned soap and water
Reply:Ban, Secret, and Dove
Reply:for sports- Degree

for girls that sweat quite a bit - certain dri (it closes pores)

for casual - arm and hammer
Reply:Secret is really good also for men. Besides no one anti-perspirant it's good when you use syntetic fabrics...
Reply:Voice of authority here, She Who Knows All (a mother, stepmother, and grandmother combo with numerous female children, stepchildren, and grandchildren ages 9 - 34) can tell you Secret is number one, Mitchum is number two, and Degree is number three in order of effectiveness. I prefer the clear solid unscented types of all the above, but each has different girly scents if you like that kind of thing. Good luck.
Reply:certainly dove
Reply:speed stick 24/7

If you use the same deodorant does it become uneffective??

Is it best to switch every so often to a new brand or kind? Does it not work as effective as when you started to use the deodorant?? How long should you wait to switch?? Or does it not even matter???

If you use the same deodorant does it become uneffective??
I have been using the same deoderant all my life and it still works. 25 years and going. It doesn't become ineffective.

I need a really good deodorant for girls.?

Right now, I use Secret Platinum invisible antiperspirant in Mystic Rain, but it doesn't seem to work. I'm 12 years old right now, and yesterday when I was at my friends house. We were playing DDR, and then one of my friends told me that she could see my armpit sweat. I live in Canada, so I don't have some stores like, Target, CVS, etc. So please suggest some good deodorant that actually WORKS! And please don't suggest some of those really expensive ones either. Thnx %26lt;3

I need a really good deodorant for girls.?
i love dove in fresh or powder it's basic so it's not like people come next to you and be like ooh you smell like pears and sweat today hahaha get dove :]
Reply:Honey,just use GUY deodorant.

It works SO much better.Plus you don't have to worry about stinking/sweating because it's so much stronger than female

deodorant.

Trust me,LOTS %26amp; LOTS of girls wear guy deodorant.

It's completely normal.

You should seriously try it.
Reply:i use secret platinum too and it seems to work fine for me. you could try men's deodorant if women's isnt strong enough. idk if you would be able to find this but i know ppl who sweat a lot and they use Arrid XX?? something like that.
Reply:i suggest mitchum as well...it was given to me at the age of 12, by my aunt, and just like Mia said, you can skip a day and noone would notice.....my second choice is degree
Reply:mitchum! you can seriously skip a day and nothing happens.
Reply:Dove!! thats the kind my mom uses and it's the first kind i used. now im using Secret and i cant wait till I can get Dove again.(I'm 14)
Reply:deodorant isn't going to stop the sweating; it just makes your pits smell better. anti-persperant will prob work
Reply:Secret Clinical Strength. It works great!
Reply:Dove %26amp; put alot on
Reply:Here is some info (its from an answer I gave to a similar question a while back)

there is a product called Certain-dry and Dry Sol which I think you apply only at night maybe for only a few days or maybe a week and its supposed to last for a short while before you apply again... not sure exactly if I am right on how it works.

http://www.amazon.com/Certain-Dri-Anti-P...

there is also a product called Sweat Block that you apply once a week.

http://www.sweatblock.com/

you might be able to use these on other areas of the body like if you have excessive sweating on the hands but I am not sure.

if your sweating is not controllable by these then there is something called "Drionic" which they have underarm versions or hand/feet versions. You have to do I think 2 half hour sessions and depending on if you do it on low or high you have to do it for 7-8 hours total or double that on low. This is supposed to stop sweating for up to 6 weeks at a time. It stings when you use it but once you are used to it I guess its not that bad by what my uncle told me (he uses it with great success). Your underams will be red when first using it until you get used to it. But once you get through the treatments it will go back normal after some days. My uncle said this is the best thing he has ever tried as it stops his excessive sweating (he even sweat a lot during winter when it was snowing)

http://www.drionic.com/

also, if you don't want to go this route and your excessive sweating is on your underarms, there are underarm guards you can place on your clothing that absorb the sweat and prevent those armpit wet circles some people get.

there is

http://www.sweatex.com/

it says its not see-thru but if you are wearing a t-shirt you can see "something" there... they may not know its the underarm pads... but you can always wear a very thin undershirt with the sweat pad attached then your regular t-shirt or any other top over that.

and these:

Is there any type of deodorant for....?

the down there, i take depo shots so i spot daily (for the last yearl and half tell mne about it) and sometime it smells 2 stron, any good deodorant for down there? brand names i can find in ny?

Is there any type of deodorant for....?
Um...you could use the clinincal strength! My cuzin uses it and it makes her smell soo much better!!!
Reply:Deodorant products can mess with your natural chemistry %26amp; cause infections %26amp;/or irritation, so that might not be the best route.

Plain ol' cornstarch works well as an odor-absorbing powder, %26amp; doesn't have those irritating fragrances that can mess you up. Give it a shot, but just a light dusting is all you need... you're not frying chicken here, LOL!

Good luck! :) And remember that some fragrance is normal. You're a real, live woman, %26amp; we humans naturally produce some odors.
Reply:There are some pads that come with a light scent to try to mask the smell of periods. Cornstarch or a light dusting of baby powder might help. Don't use any sprays or deodorants or douches - they'll mess up your body's natural chemisty and you can end up with a yeast infection or a bacterial infection which will itch, burn and smell worse. Perhaps try a light tampon instead.
Reply:I don't recommend local deodorants, it can mess up the PH of your vagina and cause infections. However, if you already have a strong (bad) smell, you could already have an infection. I would go to a doctor.
Reply:There is, but it's not recommended to use because it's not safe.

Have they ever discontinued the deodorant you've always used?

I always use Secret soft solid, but I cannot find it anywhere lately! Good thing I never wait until it's gone to buy more. lol

Now I have to start trying other ones. Ridiculous after YEARS of the same deodorant.

Have they ever discontinued the deodorant you've always used?
Yes, that has happened to me on some deodorants, and i prefer the roll ons, which are getting harder and harder to find. everything has pretty much gone to solids.
Reply:Not deodorant but I looked for the perfect lipstick shade for my entire life and as soon as I found it, Mary Kay discontinued it. I was soooo mad.

The prescription strength Degree is awesome. Pricey but worth it!
Reply:I always use different deodorant never the same one. A change is good for the soul. You are caught of guard, so good luck finding something similar to the one you used before.
Reply:you are suppose to change to a different deodorant every six months~
Reply:Nope, I use Emeril's Essence, which is still widely available.

BAM!!!
Reply:never.
Reply:i change them all the time
Reply:nopppers, i just buy whichever gel is on sale and smells good:)
