What brand of DEODORANT do you wear?

I wear Secret Brazilian Cherry. It smells sooooooo good. Do you find it disguisting when people don't wear deodorant? I do.

What brand of DEODORANT do you wear?
I use the same thing.. Secret Brazilian Cherry. But it's gel.

Reply:I wear Adidas. It is aluminum free. A recent study shows that aluminum can cause allsimers. I don't know how to spell it.
Reply:I use Secret Vanilla Chai gel. And yes, I do find it disgusting that some people don't wear deodorant.
Reply:Black Spice. No, they wear perfumes or colognes.
Reply:Axe dry (Pheonix) . Yeah, it bothers me too.

Reply:I use a European brand that has no aluminum in it. It works like a charm. You've got to stay away from the brands that contain aluminum. Studies are linking it to hormonal disturbances that can lead to breast cancer and Alzheimer's. Who wants to put aluminum on their skin, anyway?
Reply:Dove and yes I do

Reply:Deodorant and Perspiration Stain Removal

Yellow underarm shirt stains are likely caused by a combination of deodorant and perspiration. Many deodorants and antiperspirants contain aluminum salts. When these salts are combined with laundry detergent, especially in cooler water settings, they are not easily dissolved, and they remain on the fabric.

To remove the stains, try soaking the shirts in warm water with an enzyme pre-soak product or rubbing the soiled area with white vinegar. Wash in the hottest water safe for the fabric. If the stain remains, dampen and sprinkle stain with meat tenderizer. Let stand for about an hour, and launder again.

To avoid new stains from forming, always wash the shirts in the hottest water safe for the fabric. Also, allow antiperspirant to dry completely before dressing. :)
Reply:Deordorant doeesn't make the shirt yellow, sweat and time does.

so no, there's no such thing.

You can try stronger deordorants but they are all pretty much the same. Also, wearing clothing made from natural fibers like cotton will allow your body to breathe more and sweat less.

What is the best anti-perspirant/deodorant?

I use secret platinum gel and I love the smell, but it seems every day no matter how much I put on I get HUGE sweat stains under my arms. Even in the winter! It is so embarrasing! I've tried multiple deodorants and they all have the same problem! I really would like a deodorant/anti-perspirant that makes me smell nice and not sweat so much! Please help! Thanks SOOOO Much!

What is the best anti-perspirant/deodorant?
try certain-dri you put it on at night and use your regular deoderant in the morning its really strong so you wont have underarm sweat but it can irritate your skin a little if you use it every night.
Reply:the best deodorant by far is mitchulum even no i no you wouldn't do this but its so good you dont even need to put any on the next day no really i give you my word
Reply:I took the 7 day Dove test...And it works for me...
Reply:Mitchum fragrance free is the way to go. I was in your situation and it really suits me and I wouldn't use anything else. I read that fragrances can interact negatively with a lot of people and worsen things. So it's best to keep deodorants and fragrances apart.

If you want to smell nice get a perfume and apply to your wrists and elsewhere as a separate issue. It's important to find one that suits you - I have found that just because something smells great on someone else or I like it on a sample card ... doesn't mean it's going to be a great fragrance on me. Wear a sample around for a day and only part with your money if you love it at the end of the day and get plenty of comments!

I also use Palmolive Gold [deodorising soap] in the shower.
Reply:I use Degree antiperspirant. It works for me.
Reply:Hi my sister has the very same problem- no matter what she tried she just couldnt find a way to stop perspirating, so my boyfriend mentioned a brand called 'Mitchum' which he recommended - so she tried it and she has never looked back, she feels so much more confident. hint- use the green- its alot more protective. hope i helped! xoxo
Reply:make sure you switch deodorants ever so often, for your body can become immune to it
Reply:I had the same problem. My sister uses ''LADY SPEED STICK'' she told me it works really well, and then i tried and realised..if you put it on in da morning..it will stay there for the wholee day...the same beautiful smell from the deodorant...and you wont sweatt much...well when i use it i wont sweat at all..and alsoo you wont get any white marks...i tried Dove n secret platinum and all that...they didnt work for me...but ''LADY SPEED STICK'' did! im telling you...u gotta tryy thattt !! its reallly really gudd!! hope it helpss =)
Reply:Go with mitchum, and if that doesn't work, it just might be your sweat glands - if it's that serious, then you'd have to seek professional help for that.

Is there any deodorant that is truly strong enough for a man?

My deodorant will only last for the first half of the day. Is there anything that works? And why am I, a fit and extremely agressive male, so prone to stinking?

Is there any deodorant that is truly strong enough for a man?
i, too, had a problem with underarm odor until i started using Mitchum for men. it's the best product on the market. it comes in gel form, spray, and roll on. i prefer the roll-on because the gel becomes a little bit sticky.
Reply:Forget about mainstream deodorants, they are full of chemicals and cost a lot for what you are getting. Try a natural salt crystal, they have them at most drugstore, but you may have to look at the top/bottom of the shelf (they are not at eyelevel usually). They work by killing the bacteria which cause the smell. They dont stop sweat, but this is natural, it is unhealthy to clog pores. It is about 6$ and will literally last for over a year. My boyfriend and I both use this, he works in a factory lifting heavy doors all day, and says that this stuff works the best.
Reply:My boyfriend is a rancher and is outside alot and does a lot of physical activity. He started using Old Spice Pure Sport Deodorant and it lasts all day. Even at the end of the day when he comes home, he still smell good! And don't be scared about it being Old Spice Brand....the Pure Sport scent smells really good and smell nothing like the classic Old Spice Aftershave.
Reply:axe use to work for me, but I guess I got a immune to it after a while. so I use speed stick and that works for me
Reply:Try Mitchum it works great
Reply:Axe

You got the axe effect (all the ladies)

And you smell great the whole day
Reply:A lot of time excessive underarm odor is actually not from you, it's from bacteria that has developed under your arms. Try using an antibacterial soap and let your arms dry completely before applying deoderant. There are also powders you may want to try like Goldbond, or antifungal creams.
Reply:I've tried them all it seems. Ones that work for my heavy wetness are Mitchum, Arm %26amp; Hammer and Right Guard Sport, thou on some days none of these do the job. Look for the highest percentage of the active ingredient, these all have the high levels. I prefer the Arm %26amp; Hammer roll on because it causes less pit stains.
Reply:Maybe you should think about what you are putting into your body. Try drinking a little more water. lay off the beer a little.

or try spraying yourself with some foot deodorant. If that stuff works for stinky feet it should work for anything.. lol... joking... I would not recommend that. You are a man there are other underline reasons for why you stink . hormones, hygiene, health reasons

Most women like the smell of a man. My wife comments on how good I smell after I have worked hard all day.
Reply:try REXONA for MEN...
Reply:Old Spice Sport. I use it and its LONG lasting and smells GREAT. It has control relese technlogy. So, its noy only a strong doderant that has a great smell, but last all day.

Can A Woman Wear Men's Deodorant?

I love Men's Diesel "Green" deodorant, but will it work with my girly PH?

What is your favorite deodorant?

Can A Woman Wear Men's Deodorant?
It will work the same, if not better because it's made for big, sweaty men who stink a hell of a lot more than women. It's why I recommend using mens' shaving cream on your legs instead of the female versions, because it's made for the face, and is therefore likely to be better quality as its an area you see all the time.

You'll just smell a lot more musky, and until your friends get used to it, they'll probably ask who you've been sleeping with or something.

Personally I like Joop and Jeep colognes and deodorants, but hey, I'm not afraid to use a girl's deodorant either. I like having that musky smell with a sweeter undertone of strawberry, which is Strawberry Fields by Evoke.

Makes me smell tasty and sweet. Good thing when you work as a chocolatier.
Reply:Women can definately wear men's deodorant. The only reason they have separate ones are because men usually have stronger smells, lol. I know women who prefer men's deodorant because of its extra strength.

I dont though. :D

I wear Dove Deodorant.
Reply:its all for retail purposes. thats all. girl or boy...it does not matter, only the smell!
Reply:of course they can! Infact im wearing mens deo right now!

but if u start getting hitting on my women... dont be surprised :)
Reply:no they have there own deodorant.
Reply:Why not. Knock yourself out!! If you like it wear it.

I only use Mitchum for woman only. Baby powder fresh scent.

Take care.

P.S. Is gather 3 is your lucky number. If so. So is mine.

Good number.
Reply:yes it will work hell means deoderant tends to work better in general youll just end up having that manly smell thats associated with male deoderant deoderant covers the smell because of the strong perfume they put into it. antiperspirant is what causes you not to sweat so much
Reply:wear whatever you like the smell of! never mind your ph, will it work with your personality? for example, lighter more playful fragrances suit me a lot better than say a heavy musky scent, because i'm an outgoing little bubble of a thing. sometimes i wear men's deodorant, nothing wrong with that at all, my husband loves it.
Reply:I have a friend who has used a man deodorant for years. If it works use it. Me I use a girly deodorant Secret.
Reply:Why not? Try it out.

If you like it and it blends with you well, the heck with the norm.
Reply:It'll work but you will smell maleish.
Reply:It should work fine.

My wife and I use Crystal Salts from the health food store, from Thailand.
Reply:I wear men's unscented deodorant and antiperspirant because I sweat a lot and it seems to work better than the women's :-\

Most have the same ingredients, only difference is color and smell.
Reply:There is nothing different on mens deodorant than womens one just has different odor ingrediants than the other i wear womens when i am in an emergency situation
Reply:You can do whatever you want,,,,but I like roll-on deoderant. It's smooooth and coooold!!! No clumpy chunks!!!
Reply:yes mabey just a littly or i might make you smell kinds weird : )
Reply:You can but you'll have an uncontrollable urge to walk up to kids and say, "Pull my finger."
Reply:yes. deodorants are simply marketed to each sex with colors and scents. check the ingedients they use pretty much the same stuff in both
Reply:Yes but it will make you smell masculine.
Reply:Sure you can wear it but the scent might not be too feminine.

I have hardened deodorant stains under the arms of my work t shirts,?

What can i use to remove these hardened stains (deposits of deodorant) I have washed and washed them but to no avail. They have become unwearable due to these stains.

the t shirts are cotton and i have washed them on every temperature setting available on my washing machine.

CAN ANYBODY HELP

I have hardened deodorant stains under the arms of my work t shirts,?
vinegar
Reply:a thick solution of baking soda should do the trick spread it on leave it maybe an hour and wash its gd for smells too.
Reply:this sounds like a strange 1 here ....but try it ...crush 2 aspirin tablets in warm water then soak the shirt 4 ...3 hours.... then wash as normal.... give it a go..... :)))) nothing 2 lose.... i swear it works.....
Reply:buy some new ones!
Reply:Soak the area with cider vinegar and then bung them in the washing machine. This works for sweat stains and accumulated gunk.
Reply:Soak in Ariel for the night. It will do the trick.
Reply:With good old fashioned soap bar ,soap, cold water and lots of sun. Soak your T-shirt´s in cold water , rub the soap into the stains, Leave the soap on and the shirts free from water for at least 1/2 hr, Back to cold water give a rinse, Now rub more soap to the satin , leaving the soap on pop into your washing machine on a 30ºc or 40ºc normal wash cycle . Once done hang the t-shirts outside in the sun, If the t-shirts are white the sun will bleach them whiter than white and bleach the stain out. If your T-shirts are dark coloured once, Make sure you turn them inside out before hanging them outside in the sun. This way the sun won´t bleach the colour out of them but will still bleach the stain out. It might take a few turns doing this , just depends on how bad the stains are.
Reply:vanish oxy
Reply:change your deoderant.
Reply:Once the shirts have reached this stage, there is not much that can be done, other than buying new shirts.

To prevent it from happening in the first place, make sure that you purchase a deodorant that DOES NOT contain aluminum chloride. Aluminum is the ingredient for perspiration control. The aluminum in an antiperspirant chemically reacts with the salt in your perspiration to create the yellow stains. If you use a DEODORANT ONLY (with NO aluminum content [check the ingredients list]), your shirts will not stain.

My personal experience with this solution is that it does indeed work as far as saving your white T-shirts, but I find that the odor protection does not last as long (since you perspire more). However, I think that is preferable to being caught wearing a yellow-stained shirt that looks nasty.
Reply:I've never heard of being able to get rid of these stains I think it's probably best that you buy some new ones and then invest in a different deodrant.

Do you put deodorant on before or after you put your top on?

I've tried it both ways and still sometimes manage to get deodorant stains on my shirt. Which do you recommend and why?

Do you put deodorant on before or after you put your top on?
I put on my deodorant before putting my top on. I find it awkward and more likely to get deodorant on my shirt if I put my shirt on first. Nevertheless, I still get stains sometimes. It all depends on the deodorant. Good luck!
Reply:After.
Reply:before!!
Reply:After. Make sure you aren't using too much deodorant. Let it dry before putting a shirt on. A roll on takes longer to dry so maybe a spray is best. (?)

**earth to Alicia....Why you ask? He told us why he's asking such a question**
Reply:before... why are you asking this??
Reply:After, I just make sure to stretch my shirt so there's no chance the deoderant will touch my shirt.

But it'd be best to just get something that doesn't leave marks, like Degree.
Reply:Before if I remember. After if I don't.

If I put on deodorant after (and it is not the cool new stuff that doesn't turn white) it tends to make white marks on my shirt.
Reply:After, if you put it on before there will be marks on ur shirt.
Reply:put it on after. if you have to, stick it up your shirt with the top on, then take it off and put your deoderant on.
Reply:get a different deodorant -- those clear ones don't seem to stain, or try the spray deodorants.

i think you should use the deodorant first, and wait til it dries out a bit and then put your shirt on.
Reply:Let it dry before you put on your shirt, or try a new deodorant.
Reply:I do it after (and like you, still manage to sometimes get it on the bottom/outside of the shirt). You at least have a better chance of not getting it on your clothes if you do it after. I guess just apply it very slowly and not in a hurry ;)
Reply:before, because i always seem to stretch out my shirt. but i recommend a deodorant that doesn't leave stains.
Reply:Before, and I fold the bottom half of the shirt up before I slip it over my head and then once my arms are in it I unroll it down. If any deodorant gets on the shirt, it's only on the inside.

How to get the smell of deodorant & cologne out of tshirt?

I want to return a shirt to a store. I put it on before going out and sprayed cologne and wore a lot of deodorant. then i decided i didn't like the shirt and ended up changing to another one to go out in. so i now want to return this shirt back to the store however it smells of my cologne and deodorant. i need the new smell back!! thanks

How to get the smell of deodorant %26amp; cologne out of tshirt?
Spritz the shirt lightly with Febreze or any other brand of fabric refresher and allow to dry.
Reply:this is NOT illegal or immoral. you didn't have it on any longer than you would have in a dressing room. Let it hang for a few days and the smell will lessen. you can wash it and still return it too. that's not a problem.

i just returned a shirt today that tore at the seam the first time i wore it...the girl didn't even notice that it had been tailored and there wasn't a tag in it any more. I am 110% sure that the tailoring did not cause the tear. the seam was just too close to the edge of the fabtic. the moral of the story....the clerk probably won't even notice the shirt has cologne on it...will probably think its coming off you.....if there are white deoderant stains...grab a pair of pantyhose from someone and rub the white spots....takes it right off.
Reply:It's yours. Keep it.
Reply:I think thats illegal.
Reply:Dude, u totally wore this out to the club wit da tag hidin' on the inside and now you need the money back cuz u spent it all @ the club...
Reply:I would not like to be the next person to buy that shirt... I worked in a department store and people did this all the time, so much so that some items that were returned and allowed to be returned, when they got to the department they came from, were deemed unable to sell because of them smelling from the person who wore them, or stains, or marks....one lady returned her whole kids summer wardrobe at the end of the season! and they were all faded and horrible, and they allowed it at the front desk....
Reply:That is pretty dishonest, but maybe your local dry cleaner can help you. Or, try that Dryell stuff you can use at home.

Do you wear deodorant everyday?

During the winter i don't wear deodorant/anti-perspirant...but then, i don't sweat or smell either. I just put on body spray.

Is this bad?

Do you wear deodorant everyday?
No , in fact i use the deodorant in winter also . whatever in winter if we don't get sweat but it gives us fresh fragrance 4 every time.

sometimes it happens that the person sitting near to u may be have bed smell of sweat that our deo help us lot.
Reply:Yes Ive ran out of the house on occasions with out any deodorant. Typically I wear it all the time, Remember just because you cant smell anything dont mean anybody else dont. your nose will get use to the smell and you will not pick up on the smell...

Not wearing deodorant is not bad for you, but it wouldn't hurt to have it on...

Does antiperspirant or deodorant kill the bacteria that causes BO?

Why isn't a deodorant/antiperspirant made that kills bacteria and change the ammonia into something that doesn't stink?

Does antiperspirant or deodorant kill the bacteria that causes BO?
Actually, it doesn't kill the bacteria that causes BO. It just plugs up your pores or whatever so the BO doesn't come out. An antiperspirant is for sweat and a deodorant is for smell.
Reply:If you're talking about serious BO, it's b/c that person need to bathe. It's not only their armpits causing the horrendous odour=P They might also be suffering from a zinc deficiency, or some serious health problem. Here's a good article on the causes and treatment of BO:

http://www.healthy.net/scr/article.asp?I...
Reply:Deoderants contain chemicals that are supposed to kill the odor-causing bacteria. Anti-persperants also contain alluminum, which prevents the sweat glands from working and thereby stops you from sweating.

It is important to note that too much aluminum is toxic, and using strong anti-persperants increases your risk of breast cancer. And yes, this applies to men as well as women.
Reply:Hey, they are already say that antiperspirant and deodorant gives us Cancer because it blocks the "poisons" from coming out and it builds up.

Who knows??? Maybe that's something you can do.
Reply:no it doesnt kill bacteria...it just covers the smell...(hopefully)

but some ppl has such strong BO that deoderant doesnt do much, sadly! but i give props to them for trying...

it's much worse if you encounter those who doesnt even use it and they dont know that they stink. yuck!
Reply:Antiperspirant is exactly what it says, anti=no, perspirant=sweat. No sweat, it doesn't allow the sebacious glands underarm to produce sweat, meaning there is no wetness there at all to cause a stink. Deodorant simply makes or covers up the smell.
Reply:most do get a better deodorant
Reply:Hey antipersperant deoderant, Stop's the bacteria from basicaly making the smell.. You have to use it before you actually have a smell though

so i have to wear my jacket all the time so people cant see me sweat so i sweat even worse. i know bad huh

I have a problem with my deodorant.?
That's because deodorants only cover up smell. What you need is an antiperspirant. All antiperspirant are deodorants, but not all deodorants are antiperspirants.

Reply:I saw this on Oprah, where the persons hands and feet sweat so much, you can't stop it.

They had to have surgery, where they cut a nerve or something so those glands dont sweat!

I would love that for underarmS!

Sorry Im not sure what else would work, there is also those underarm pads you use when you wear silk, you could wear those daily....?

Good luck
Reply:there is no actual cure for sweat........try using perfume as it has a strong smell which can mask the smell of sweat better.......take a shower as frequently as possible.......try staying in cooler places.......place where there is an a c................and get rid of that jacket
Reply:you could try wearing loose cotton clothing as often as possible, this helps to keep your body cooler as opposed to materials such as nylon and silk. apart from the drastic measure of surgery, the only thing you can keep doing is to have regular showers and to use an anti perspirant, not just a deodorant, because this will only mask the odour. good luck.
Reply:maybe you should see a doctor about surgery to prevent sweating...?

Do you wear deodorant on a regular basis or do you leave it to chance?

I wear deodorant everyday, but, there are others who do not. Sometimes I am tempted to tell the person involved that they have a bad perspiration problem, but, I dear not.

Do you wear deodorant on a regular basis or do you leave it to chance?
Ummm there is no leaving it to chance with me, its pretty much certain I'll stink. That and while it may be rude to say you smell get some deodorant the way I see it it's even ruder of them to make you put up with it.
Reply:I'm not very sweaty, so I don't at all, but I wash 2-3 times a day, more in summer, and I shave my underarms, the bacteria that cause the aroma are absorbed by hair. I love the smell of fresh sweat, as long as I like that persons smell. Its a big decider for me on choice of boyfriend. My boyfriends sweat is a real turn-on. I know women are weird.
Reply:I think not using deodorant everyday is gross, I use it every morning after a shower, and then again throughout the day before sport or anytime I smell something and I do not have time to shower.

Is men's deodorant a good way to solve underarm wetness for girls?

women's deodorant hasnt been working too well and im looking for another solution

Is men's deodorant a good way to solve underarm wetness for girls?
Yes people I'm pretty sure she knows the difference of deodorant and anitpers. but it still does not work for some woman. I would go with mens, my sister does it and it works for her. I am thinking about doing it next time I go buy some too, because womens just doesn't cut it.
Reply:It's probably the best you can get. I swear by it as well
Reply:There's really no difference between the two except the fragrance and the packaging.

You might try a range of deodorants made by different companies to see what works. Also, do a search for hyper-hydrosis.
Reply:use candle wax. youl never sweat again...
Reply:some times, my sister says "it smells better"!
Reply:YEA... BUT DO YOU WANT TO SMELL LIKE A MAN? IF YOU DO THEN GO AHEAD.. BUT IF I WERE YOU ID JUST GO OUT AND BUT SECRET CLINICAL ((UNSURE HOW SPELLED)) STRENTH OR DOVE... ALDO TRY EXTRA STONG ONES AND PERSTIPION.
Reply:I've tried men's deodorant and it didn't make a difference. Did you know that your armpits can grow accustomed to deodorants and you need to use different ones? Arrid extra dry worked pretty well for me. If you're having severe problems, see a dermatologist. My sister did and they gave her prescription strength stuff.
Reply:Yes! My sister swears by it.
Reply:Yeah, mens deodorants are stronger

I use mens roll ons and deodorants
Reply:doubt it
Reply:Look for a mens antiperspirant, that is what stops the wetness. Deodorant stops the smell. Yes mens are stronger.
Reply:deodorant takes smell off. antiprespirant is what gets the wetness away.
Reply:Come on! I live in a third world country and I can tell you five truly effective deodorants for me (a man). How come you can't find one! Now, I have heard you don't need your underarm dry (blocked pores can cause you cancer) but find a product that effectively neutralizes your odor.
Reply:The main difference between men's and women's antiperspirants (which is what you want, not deodorant) is the men's is a harsher/stronger formulation.

Women's is more gentle because we shave under our arms and they could get irritated.

If you find that you can handle the stronger formulation, it might be a solution.
Reply:Doubt using a mans deodorant would make any difference. Under arm sweating can be a hormonal problem. I have this problem and use a medicated deodorant. This gets put on at night and washed off in the morning every couple of days. You can get these kinds of deodorants over the counter at pharmacies. My one is called Anhydrol Forte. You can ask you doc to recommend one that you can get where u live.
Reply:First of all Deodorant is for smell. Anti-perspirant is for wetness. Just use a good anti-perspirant like Degree for women. Men's and womens are the same with different scents.
Reply:You should be looking at an antiperspirant. If you are having serious problems with underarm wetness (like extremely excessive sweating)... you can talk to your doctor for a clinical strength antiperspirant... you don't need to use it forever. Usually once you get through the first bottle, you don't need it anymore.
Reply:no my friend has the same problem as you. she told her dr. and she gave her a perscription and she doesnt sweat any more.
Reply:I don't like the smell of the men's. I bought one of those natural deodorants from whole foods. The ones that are in crystal form and you have to wet them.

Well, anyways, I put that on first, let it dry then I put on Dove Women's antiperspirant. That seems to work well for me.
Reply:no. and the scent will be ery noticable
Reply:anti-perspirant solves wetness. deodorant covers up odor.
Reply:I had the same problem and my dermatologist gave me a special deoderant that worked really well, you only have to use is for a short time then you can go back to regular deoderant. Botox injections can also work too. If I were you I'd just go to the dermatologist because I don't think men's deoderant will work much better.
Reply:my sister seems to think so i havent seen mine in a while...
Reply:if it's wetness, you need antiperspirant--that stops wetness. Deodorant only stops the smell. Don't confuse the two. Read the labels and see what's what.
Reply:The body shop as some good men's deodorants. I used to use them until I found out that metaphysically bo and underarm wetness is caused by not liking what you are doing or being in competition, you are going against what is natural for you. So now I relax and embrace my direction and only have to use light girls deodorant.
Reply:Yes,

Or try Secret Clinical Strength...works like a charm.
Reply:You may need to go see a dermatologist about your skin. My fiance has overactive sweat glands. They will prescribe you a better anti-perspirant. DO NOT use men's deodorant. There is a reason they make them for separate sexes. Best of luck.
Reply:use Certain Dry you will never be wet again
Reply:no...too harsh

use Certain Dri or Drysol or get botox injections
Reply:they make clinical strength now, for men and women, check wal mart
Reply:right, and you'll smell like a man.

Help with sports/deodorant....?

So baseball season starts soon. I need a good deodorant (not antiperspirant) that will last me all through a two hour practice followed by a two/three hour game. I really don't wanna smell during the game, but nothing too strong. Also, I really don't like axe that much.

Thanks

Help with sports/deodorant....?
Use Old Spice sport. It has never failed me and I put my complete trust in it!!!!!!
Reply:USE SURE GIRL!!

You must have seen those cringy celebrity photos. Like the ones paparazzi take! The one of Fergie wetting herself on stage or Britney spears with sweat patches under their arm. They should have used Sure Girl shame they didn’t know about it!

And also this could have been avoided if they had downloaded the new Sure Girl application on Bebo. Have you added it yet? Have you also entered the cool competition on there and answered the poll?

“WE KNOW WHAT MAKES YOU SWEAT”
Reply:As crazy as this sounds, you may want to use secret, even though it is for a woman. Or you can try arrid XX dry.

Do you wear deodorant?

im curious a few coworkers have b.o. and it's obviously from not wearing deodorant it seems to be kinda common nowadays to not wear it i just wanted to know how many people actually use it i personally wear it daily i keep a container with me at all times lol how about you?

Do you wear deodorant?
I wear it everyday. I won't leave the house without putting some on.
Reply:I wear it everyday. But a lot of people now days are not wearing it because of certain health risks that are surfacing (not saying this is the reason your co-workers are not wearing it) my mom wears organic deodorant because of this, but it works just fine. Also, some cultures do not wear it, I went to school with a girl from a country that I cannot remember but she did not wear deodorant because she was raised that she didn't need to.
Reply:I have always used a deodorant/anti-perspirant since I was in junior high. If they don't want to use it they can use a natural crystal deodorant and shower with antibacterial soap like Dial. Maybe they are used to their own scent and don't realize others can smell them.
Reply:i do it once in the morning. at about 5ish, i can feel it wearing off, and i get sweaty. but i use anti-perspirant, and i even get through that really easy. some days at 11 in the morning i get through it. but i only use it once. im normally gone from my house from 8am - 9pm
Reply:I only put it on before i work out

I hate putting it on during in the morning because i always feel like i get deodorant stains. Plus, my armpits usually don't smell and aren't sweaty
Reply:Yes i do, because when u r among other people they can smell your stink but u would not be able to smell it yourself. so to prevent this you SHOULD always wear deodarant. i use Avon, its the best
Reply:what kind of work do you do?

my dad doesn't but he's the only person I know who doesn't.... he's a mechanic

But I do and my brother and mom all wear Deo EVERYDAY
Reply:i don't know anyone that doesn't wear deodorant - it's like brushing your teeth - you just do it...
Reply:ooooh yeah. who wants to smell like BO ? No one in their right mind I'd hope!! lol. If I didn't you'd be smelling me all the way to timbukto (however you spell that lol)

I used to sweat alot, used deodorant, stopped for 3-4 weeks, but now its back, why?

well im 17 and i used to sweat from my underarms alot, but then i used some deodorant that says its the strongest deodorant without a prescription. it worked for 3-4 weeks. i stopped sweating and everything was good. but then started again last week, even tho im still using it, and its only in school, when i come home not a drop comes out. but right now im thinking it might be stress actually. report cards coming soon and im not doing so good. but i don't feel stressed out thats the thing. and also one time when i was gonna lose in a game i kinda got mad cause my friend screwed me and i started sweating again lol. i dont know can it be from stress even tho im not feeling at all that stressed? cuz its only when im at school and it wont be at all that hot. sorry for the long question gotta put my whole story in lol

I used to sweat alot, used deodorant, stopped for 3-4 weeks, but now its back, why?
Chances are, its your caffiene, green tea or chocolate intake. Diuretics of any kind will cause you to perspire more.
Reply:Some people become tolerant of different things they use. Try a different deodorant that has an anti-perspirant.

Not sure if stress has to do with it. It seems, oddly enough, that it is an anxiety thing.

Have you been to the Doctor about it? Perhaps prescription deodorants or creams could assist.
Reply:This is probably genetic.

Drink plenty of water to cool yourself down and keep your fluids up.

Thin-materialed clothing will help your skin breathe more easily.

Generally people sweat more around their menstrual cycle as well. This could be a contributor.

And as you said, stress could indeed be another problem.

Goodluck.

Reply:i just skimmed ur story but i think i got most of the details and my sister has that problem too and she started using "certain dry" or something like that. i'm sure u can buy it in any store they sell deodorant so try it, whats the worst that can happen
Reply:try a different deoderant, your body will adjust to the chemical make up, even same brand different scent sometimes works. Technically the same toothpaste for a period of time will lose its affect over three to four weeks.
Reply:you should take showers every day when coming home from school.

Stress DOESN'T create sweat.

It happens during growth. during those

3-4 weeks you were supposed to still put

the deodorant on. It happens XD
Reply:You could have a medical condition known as hyper-hydrosis. You might want to see a doctor about the problem, should it persist.
Reply:Cause you smell... use more deodorant...

Does roll-on deodorant work better than a stick?

Because I can't tell. And why do some days does deodorant not work?

Does roll-on deodorant work better than a stick?
For odor control, probably the stick is better. If you want to stop wetness, the roll on works better, because it seems to glue your pores shut. Years ago somebody warned against long-term anti-persperant use, but I haven't heard anything since. I stick to deodorant without anti-persperant and it does what I need it to do. Mennen Speed Stick works for odor, and it is cheap.
Reply:stick workd better than deodorant...
Reply:I've used spray, roll-on, gel, and I find that I like the sticks the best. Roll-ons tend to make things worse cuz it stays damp so it gets on your clothing more and doesn't help the sweat. The sticks are bad cuz it's harder to wash off so it can clump, especially for men with hairy armpits.

If you want to minimize sweating then you need an anti-perspirant, which clogs up your pores. I don't like them so I only use the clear deodorant sticks. If you're going to be sweaty and smelly you need to reapply, and if your body needs to sweat it's going to, it's unhealthy to not sweat, and the deodorant only tries to mask body odors, but doesn't prevent it.

What brand of deodorant should I use?

I'm a freshman guy in high school and I'm going to purchase some new deodorant in the near future. I was just curious about what everyone's preference is out there.

So if you could please state:

1) What is the most popular

2) The brand you use and a specific scent if applicable

3) Suggestions for me (brand/scent)

What brand of deodorant should I use?
I'd go with Musk Speed Stick by Mennen.
Reply:Try "RED ZONE" in the Red small Spray.

I can go for 48 hours without any Under-Arm smell.

Yes, I can. It's that strong.
Reply:I use Rexona. I don't know about spray on though I end up breathing most of it in.
Reply:Use whatever scent you find pleasing. Please be aware that certain stronger scents may be a turn off for others, especially people with allergens.

Go to your local wal-mart or drug store and pop those caps to take a sniff. There is no "best" deodorant, the best one is the deodorant you like.

Personally, I'd just stay away from those Gels .. they run out very quick and can be a bit runny.

What is the best women's deodorant to stop sweating?

I'm not talking about Certain Dri.I'm talking about a high quality deodorant which stops sweating. A solid non staining deodorant that stops wetness before it starts.I sweat bad when school comes around. Which Brand is best?

What is the best women's deodorant to stop sweating?
Degree is what works for me (im a dancer so i sweat alot) look for little black dress approved so you know it will not stain your clothing. i absolutly hate secret. if you have heavy sweating problems, pick up Red Zone (for men) unscented. it works like a charm for my friend who has over active sweat glands. you would never know that you had red zone on. if you are REALLY DESPERATE you can get botox injections so you wont need deoderant any more.
Reply:It depends on which brand works best FOR YOU. Every deodorant works different for different people. YOu need to try a few and find which works best for you.
Reply:Ah, sweat. A scourge of women everywhere. Arrid sells an "extra extra dry" solid. I have had some success with that. If that isnt enough. Try Secret's new "clinical strength." It is supposedly the best there is. I have used it and it does fairly well. But it does run around six bucks.

If all that fails. There are these gizmos called dress sheilds that you can put inside your garment. Its like a panty liner for your arm pits. They can be found at amazon and victoria's secret.
Reply:Most of the deodorants have basically the same active ingredient. In other words, they're all good. I've been using Lady Speed Stick 24/7 lately and I like it quite well. I have never tried Mitchum, but I understand that it's quite good also. Frankly, I'm not sure if you'll find a "non staining" deodorant that will work as well as a white one.
Reply:the new clinical strength secret works great
Reply:You should try the Secret gel kind. I've used it and it makes it a lot drier under there.
Reply:A DE-ODORANT means to "stop odor"

An ANTI-PERSPIRANT means "against (wet) perspiration"

You may find that one brand will work for a while, and then becomes ineffective. That would mean switching to another brand.

From a health perspective, I'd say "allow your body to sweat, it's the odor you want to avoid"
Reply:Certain Dri is the only one that can stop sweating. Have you tried it? If you follow the instructions and put it on an night, you'll be dry within a day or two.
Reply:hii,

deodorants will just helping you suppress the sweat for a short time not to end it , so what i recommend is that, there's a site that is called stop sweating and start living , it offers a book that carries the same title, i think it will be very helpful for you. here is the link to the site http://stop-sweating.co.nr/ , hope it helps.

What's the BEST men's deodorant that keeps a man dryer than the rest?

I notice the deodorant i bought the other day doesn't do that good of a job. Who wants to smell like the funk? not me! I wanna know what the best deodorant is. I am just talking the basics, not the $100 you might find at a store on Rodeo Drive.

What's the BEST men's deodorant that keeps a man dryer than the rest?
arm and hammer deodorant it works will.

works all day, always looking for new ones and this the best yet.
Reply:Secret. It's a women's deodorant, but works wonders on me. Also, I was able to really eliminate sweating on my palms, feet and under my arms by using a product called Drionic. Here't the website: http://www.drionic.com/

It worked for me, so I recommend it.
Reply:my choice for the best deodorant is Mitchum roll on. it really is strong enough (as advertised) to miss a day. i've been using it for years now and contend it's the only deordorant that assures me that i don't need to worry about offensive underarm odor. it's slightly more expensive than other deodorants, but well worth the expense. I buy mine in lots of 12 on e-bay. much cheaper.

How to get deodorant off of black shirts?

I have a nice black tank top, but my deodorant, no matter what brand I buy, I always manage to get the white stuff under the arms. It looks bad, so whats a quick way to remove it if im going out?

How to get deodorant off of black shirts?
next time you go out shopping, ask the store if they have any foam (like from padded hangers, etc). use the foam to rub off the deodorant stains. it really works. that's what we used when we had deodorant marks on clothing that people tried on, when i worked retail.
Reply:Just a damp cloth.

If I put deodorant/antiperspirant on in the morning, will reapplying it at lunchtime make me smell?

I put Dove deodorant/antiperspirant on a morning, then at school I usually reapply it at lunchtime (but only usually on hot days or when I have gym). My friend's grandma says this will make me smell. Is this true? And if yes, how? Please answer, I'm really confused, thanks in advance xo

If I put deodorant/antiperspirant on in the morning, will reapplying it at lunchtime make me smell?
There's a difference between deodorant and antiperspirant.

Deodorant is to cover up odours

Antiperspirant is to stop you perspiring.

Nevertheless, if you do perspire - it is you clothing that soaks up the perspiration. Perspiration in itself does not smell.

It is only when you perspire again that there is a chance you may become a bit 'high'. New perspiration onto dried perspiration causes microorganisms to start to 'activate' and it is that which causes the unpleasant odour.

So, to answer your question - reapplying at lunchtime will not make you smell unless you perspire again in the afternoon onto an area of clothing which has already soaked up perspiration.

This is why people, even those who wash and apply deodorant are likely to be a bit high at the end of the day.

The best way to avoid this is to change your shirt/blouse after any exercise/perspiration.

Clothes smell - not the person underneath - is what it boils down to.
Reply:No this wont make you smell as long as you are maintaining good hygiene. if you notice your starting to smell a quick wash would be more effective than trying to cover up the odour. Head up doll
Reply:I don't think that it would, unless you were just trying to cover up a bad smell that is already there without taking a shower.
Reply:it isnt going to make you smell. dont worry about it
Reply:If by smell you mean smell of the deoderant..then...yes? It wont make you smell more. That's probably some old wives tale. Many people re-apply deoderant. If you are that worried, then take a shower (if you feel comfortable enough) after gym.
Reply:you may have perspired during the morning....when re-applying the deodorant you will in infect put a layer on deodorant and then sweat!!! so when you sweat again you will get double the smell!!
Reply:No, it won't make you smell. Grandma grew up in a different era and is probably relying on old, outdated info.

Reapplying deodorant/antiperspirant is a very common practice. Nothing to worry about.
Reply:If you put your deodorant on to freash dry skin in themorning, it should last all day. Maybe your friend's nan was trying to say that you should not put it on to skin that is already smelly. If you find that your deodorant is not keeping you dry and nice smelling, you could look around for a new one, and defo shave, as the sweat will have less surface area to cling to....
Reply:u shudnt need to put dove on agen!

u shud really try using deodarant wipes if u need to reapply after gym etc, i dnt kno do u get them in the us? they in a packet like baby wipes and face wipes.
Reply:if you use a good deoderant once a day should be enough

Help...Should I "borrow" HER underarm deodorant???

OK, I'm late for work and need a quick answer.

After reading a few Q's here yesterday, it made me want to pop in on an old friend. She was glad I did, but now I'm late for work, just showered and...well, I didn't bring an overniote bag.

Would it be wrong if I borrowed her underarm deodorant before I leave??? I have a dress shirt in the closet at work (for emergencies), but I don't like going anywhere w/ out underarm deodorant.

Will she mind?

Is it wrong?

Wear her blouse and then no-one will notice the womens deodorant you are wearing.

The most effective deodorant/antiprespirant for my armpits??
Bloody good question, i have an overactive sweat gland..so i'll be watching out for the answer, I haven't found one yet
Reply:where can i buy a maxim deodorant? is it available in the philippines? Report It

Reply:well the best i know is secret powder fresh! that keeps the most sweatiest dry, my man uses it and yeah i know secret is for woman but it really works, and he stopped sweating, he smells really nice, and fresh, and i would not use anything else try it trust me it works like a charm
Reply:secret is the best, i got this info from a gay man, so it`s great for both sexes. i love it.
Reply:Adidas deo works great!
Reply:Girl, i have the one and only answer!!! After suffering for many years from embarrasing underarm sweat issues, i have done countless hours of research, and found the only true thing that works. You need to buy a roll on solution called 'maxim'. This is applied like a roll-on deoderant, but is very strong stuff that essentially closes up your sweat glands until you wash the stuff off. Read the directions carefully however, you must apply this stuff before you go to sleep at night, as you cannot perspire for a few hours after you put it on or it will render it ineffective. When you wake up you will be sweat free for the entire day, until you wash it off!! This is a true life-saver, and is the only thing that will work (besides the serious surgical correction procedures). Also, if you have sensitive underarm skin like i do, they also offer a sensitive formula (called maxim sensitive.) It is available online through the website below.

p.s. be careful not to apply it right after shaving arm pits or you will feel intense burning! Shave pits in the morning, then apply this stuff that same night. Good luck!
Reply:Go to your dermatologist. Really! Mine gave me this formula she made just for me. I'm sweat and deodorant free for two years now.
Reply:ban roll on kind
Reply:Don't sweat, glow
Reply:you can use these cotton pads that you can put under your armpit that soak the sweat . they are easily available in the market . and you can also use roll on and deoderant of the same brand .and scent .

dont be so nervous around people when you go out itll make you sweat more .
Reply:old spice is the best... i also got a very sweaty armpit before and also stains my light colored polo and shirts, but after using old spice. it really works on me.
Reply:Certain Dry works wonders. You use it at night and your dry for the next few days. It can be bought anywhere and its not expensive.
Reply:degree for women.
Reply:Secret is a good brand for stopping wetness. I don't like it though because it leaves my skin too dry. Try it, though, and also try an unscented men's antiperspirant. Be aware that although antiperspirants stop sweat, they contain aluminum which has been linked to cause cancer. Try to alternate between it and deodorant. I like to use Dove antiperspirant and Crystal deodorant stick. If you smell bad, try to change your diet (less dairy/red meats). You will be amazed at how differently you smell!

What type of deodorant is this?

I had a male friend in a class right after his gym class. When he came in sometimes, he smelled like Fruit Loops. (ceral) I asked him, and he muttered something. I didn't hear it though. Is there now ceral deodorant? =]

What type of deodorant is this?
Myabe it was hairspray or deoderant and sweat mixed... Lol.
Reply:umm im not sure but i know that they wouldnt make cereal deoderant
Reply:its probably his shampoo or something
Reply:I'm not sure if it was deodorant or not. Maybe he was using some type of fruity body spray. Maybe even some type of Axe variety or something. My husband has tried a lot of deodorants, I've never smelled anything fruity though. Maybe it's his shampoo.

How to remove deodorant lines?

I have deodorant lines on my shirt, and I cannot get them off! Any suggestions?!

Thanks!

How to remove deodorant lines?
well what i usually do is when i put a shirt on i look to see if i have deodorant lines, if i do i take a stocking and rub where the lines are i know it sounds strange but it really works! try it =)
Reply:I just rub them with a dry rag and the lines will dissapear.
Reply:Do you mean the outside, as when you pulled the shirt on some rubbed from your arms to the sides of your shirt? I find simply wetting my hand and rubbing it over the mark works well - quick and easy, as I usually check for lines at the bathroom sink/vanity. If you're referring to the inside of the shirt, that's a whole other question, best answered in another yahoo post below (best meaning number of potential removal methods, none of which I have tried and can say with certainty work with personal experience)

Need a good deodorant?

Whats the best deodorant? I need one that wont fade or leave an even worse odor, that wont cause any irritations or rashes, and that wont leave white marks on my clothes! Thanks!

Need a good deodorant?
everyone needs to switch there deodorant about every 6 months i like mum and its not real costly
Reply:Well when I usually lose my other ones, I tend to buy dove, because it lasts really long, I mean really long, and if you give it a couple seconds to dry on it doesn't really leave any white marks. And finding it for less than three bucks isn't hard.

But it also depends on if you are allergic to anything in the deodorant. But This would be my recommendation.
Reply:secret , dove works perfect
Reply:Ban is really good!
Reply:Dove is good but leaves a trace....i would say Secret but that also leaves a mark too ...Avon makes roll on deodorants that don't leave a mark and they smell nice and are 99 cents a pop
Reply:i love dove. even though leaves white marks : /
Reply:secret
Reply:Dove, Radiant Silk fragrance is my favorite. Right now I am using Suave Ocean Breeze and I really like that too, it's also cheaper, but it does leave a little bit of white. Dove doesn't, but the white doesn't bother me.

Which anti-perspirant deodorant works best against underarm sweat?

I sweat a lot from my underarms. I live in Miami so heat is definetely a factor, but even when i'm just sitting in my room or classroom, my underarms still sweat.

I've been using RIGHT GUARD XTREME - ENERGY, but it's not working.

Can anyone recommend a better anti-perspirant deodorant for underarm sweat?

Which anti-perspirant deodorant works best against underarm sweat?
mitchum works best for me
Reply:well i use this kind that goes in sync with your body..it smells good all day and when you seat you smell good..its called degree the green kind..comes in like 2 different fragrances..hope this helps
Reply:i'm a girl from south florida and i have the same problem. it really sucks. the only thing that has ever worked for me is Secret Clinical Strength. you're supposed to put it on at night and it does its magic while you sleep. it lasts the whole day. i've been using it for months now and here and there i'll still experience some sweat during the day. when i started using it i began to get strange lumps in my underarms. then when i stopped using it, they went away. but i'm sure this isnt the case for everyone. anyway try that out..it might be a somewhat girly product, but its definitely worth a shot.

Have you ever tried NATURAL deodorant?
Reply:Certain-Dri
Reply:Certain Dri. I promise it works. Try it!
Reply:Hyperhidrosis can be caused by undiagnosed food intolerances or heavy metal poisoning. The two are not necessarily unrelated.

I had severe hyperhidrosis along with arhhythmia, migraines and muscle twitching. I went through all the regular treatments including robinul, klonopin, drysol, and finally ETS surgery. After 2-3 years the hyperhidrosis and Raynaud's syndrome began to return.

My symptoms were caused by mercury toxicity from old fillings, which led to wheat and dairy intolerance (gluten and casein). After eliminating grains and dairy from my diet, the symptoms have gone away. I had all fillings replaced with composite material, and have been taking supplements for B vitamins, minerals (magnesium, zinc, etc.) and probiotics.

If you search, there are several sources which mention hyperhidrosis as a symptom of mercury poisoning. This can be related to wheat and dairy intolerance because mercury inhibits DPP-IV, the main enzyme needed to digest these foods.

Heavy metals don't show up on regular tests until it is provoked out of the body with a chelating agent. I wasted money on one blood test before finding another doctor who did a urine test properly.

Is there a deodorant that will not leave residue on clothes after washing?

When I iron my husbands shirts there is residue under the arms of his shirts and the smell of the deodorant is still in the shirt after washing.

Is there a deodorant that will not leave residue on clothes after washing?
Use clear gel or clear stick deodorant to prevent residue in shirts underarm. You can also try deodorant sprays which does not leave a residue.

Deodorant will still be in the shirt because the deodorant has come in contact with the shirt all day.

Get no perfume deodorant in you do not want the deodorant smell in his shirt
Reply:Use on of those deodarent rocks.
Reply:I have been washing clothes since I was 7 years old...the key to having no residue on clothes or ring around the collar is wash them each time you use them.

Even if you only had them on for an hour the oils in your body accumulate and discolor clothes.

The oils in our bodies is what makes a string of pearls turn from white to a pearly color.

In answer to your question, I use every type of deoterant. I use roll ons...sprays...and powder sometimes...and nothing has ever discolored my clothes.
Reply:my hub's did that too. Is your hub using a gel type of deoderant? He's switched to a white stick now and it doesn't seem to do it.

Is he wearing a white tshirt? If he's not, that might help too, makes it look better if the shirt is a little see thru.

What Kind Of Deodorant Is Your Favorite? (Girls Only)?

I need some ideas of deodorant to buy next time i go shopping, What kind do you like? What scent is it?

What Kind Of Deodorant Is Your Favorite? (Girls Only)?
How to Make Your Own Deodorant Spray

Steps

1. Fill your spray bottle about halfway with water.

2. Mix in a bit of baking soda.

3. Keep adding small amounts of baking soda until the mixture is slimy and smooth. The amount you use depends on your water.

4. Add some lavender oil if you want.

5. Shake the bottle gently to mix all the ingredients together.

6. Now you have your own deodorant!

7. To use: Spray on your underarms. Do not rinse.

Tips

* If your deodorant is too watery, and it doesn't feel slippery, just add a bit more baking soda. If it feels grainy, add more water. Don't forget to shake the bottle.

* This deodorant can usually last a day, depending on your activities. You may need to use more or less.

* If you get any white stains from applying too much, relax: just rinse out with water.

Warnings

* Use only as much as you need! Too much baking soda may cause irritation or stains. You should start out with a bit to use and increase the amount of deodorant you use if necessary.

I need a deodorant that actually works!??? .......?

Degree claims to be "little black dress approved". Dove has a new "ultimate clear." Yet all brands I've tried still leave white residue on clothes, particularly camisoles. I need a solid deodorant that actually goes on clear. I don't want a gel.

Something like Old Spice for men. Except for women. It's a solid that's translucent and therefore goes on clear and stays on clear. Why don't they make those for women?

I need a deodorant that actually works!??? .......?
May I recommend the Nivea brand. It is the product that I personally use. Try the Nivea Pearl Beauty. It is clear and does not leave that irritating white stain; it has no alcohol, colorants or reservation in the ingredient, offers 24 hours protection and of course smells pleasant :-). It is also available in roll on. Another great product by Nivea is the Pure Invisible. The name it’s self says it all. I recommend the spray- it dry without leaving any residue.

Reply:Mitchem for women. Powder fresh. Perfect!
Reply:The best deodorant to use is Secret, the gell kind.
Reply:Dove roll on is good honest let your deodorant dry before putting clothes on.

What kind of deodorant should i use to soften my armpits without wetness and i want a good scent or scentless?

recommend a brand of deodorant or a procedure you use to keep your armpits soft. please lol

What kind of deodorant should i use to soften my armpits without wetness and i want a good scent or scentless?
Dove is the best one, I find. If you are looking for softness, look for a deodorant that advertises softening/moisturizing agents. THe only ones I know of that moisturize and soften your pits are Secret with Olay, Dove and Soft%26amp;Dri.
Reply:Dove rocks!! I love it! I was using Tom's of Maine because it was pretty gentle, but honestly..I felt so stinky after a couple of hours! Dove works for hours, makes the underarms soft and I like the scents they offer.
Reply:Use Dove - Cashmere ..

Its dam good with a nice smell.
Reply:I use Dove. It has a moisturizer in it.
Reply:try 'impulse: goddess' it isn't wet, it's like powder that you spray on.

it's what i use and my armpits are quite soft.

and it smells absolutley GORGEOUS!

When can you start giving kids deodorant?

the other day i was on the bus and like 20 7-9 year olds got on, omg they smelled horrible!!!!! if they were wearing deodorant then i dont think that they would smell.... have u noticed that kids that age smell funny???? at what age is it ok to have then use deodorant on an daily basis????

When can you start giving kids deodorant?
When they start smelling!
Reply:I did not give deodorant to my child until she was 9 just recently. She wears it everyday now. I don't think there is a specific age. I gave it to my son at the age of 8 since it was that age I noticed a smell as well.
Reply:My Son started getting BO When he was about 6yrs old, I started buying him deoderant then.
Reply:I think deodrant would be ok to use on a daily basis, especially if they need it. My lil bro is 10 and he uses it. Little boys are different than most lil girls. They dont like to take baths. They would rather go around stinky and sweaty, so deodrant could only help
Reply:Girls are smelly before their periods. Please make them wear deodorant as soon as they are smelly. Growth of armpit hair is also an indicator for when they need to start wearing it.
Reply:I think when kids start puberty, It's at that time when their bodies start changing. My son's pediatrician, says that boys usually start when they turn 11 or so, not exactly sure for girls.
Reply:They start using deodorant when they start to have body odor. that means those glands are working now and you need to give him/her some deodorant. Just tell you child they are getting older and have to start doing some things that are different that go along with growing up. he/she'll be fine. probably excited they have to use deodorant like "adults" most of them anyway.
Reply:once they're starting to smell. The younger the kids are starting to smell really bad.I think a good age to start wearing deodorant is at 5 .I know it sound's young but they sell deodorant for kids and how else will they know about good hygiene
Reply:As soon as they start to stink...My sister started her kids out even earlier so they would just always remember...any age is good...you will still have to remind they everyday...
Reply:Simple. When they are 9 years old for boys, and 10 for girls. But remember, deodorants, spray or roll-on, must be used under adult supervision.
Reply:when they start smelling
Reply:M nephew's been wearing deoderant since he was 8. Lots of kids that age do give off body odor.
Reply:I started my son on deodorant at the age of 11. There little kids they play there going to smell some. The parents need to make sure they take a shower.
Reply:That's really none of your business, actually. We don't know what their home life is like.

If anything, take a part-time job as an Avon Rep and go to each kid's home. Tell the parents you notice their kids stink and offer them a free sample of deodorant. (if you dare) You have no right to make a child that age, or to point out to a child that age, that they need to clean up. Their self-esteem is more important at that age. We need to encourage, not belittle them!
Reply:I believe when they are old enough to not be oversensitive to chemicals which is around ten I believe now this is only my gesstament so don't take it for fact good luck and good question because it can be asked about allot of different products we have that sooner or later our kids will use ?
Reply:No specific age is the perfect age. Whenever they start to sweat and stink, despite proper hygiene.
Reply:when ever they need it but dont judge someone by their smell
Reply:Different kids need it at different ages. Usually about age 8 or 9 is when girls start wearing it. Boys wouldn't ever start if moms didn't make them! :)
Reply:as soon as they need it, duhhhh
Reply:According to my daughter's pediatrician, they'll need deodorant when they start puberty. It's different for each kid, but you'll know when they start entering it when they start growing body hair.
Reply:my son is 7 and uses deodorant every day
Reply:we tell our students to bring deodorant to gym class.I know what you mean ! The teachers complain to us also, sorry !
Reply:You can start using deoderant on a daily basis at any age though it really isnt neccaceary until they have gone through puberty...
Reply:I think around the time they need - if it is real bad 8 or9 but on a usual basis wait until 11.
Reply:oh yes, i started my son as soon as he started smelling like a wet dog lol. about 10 years old.
Reply:all children should use deoderant when corn starch no longer keeps the smell at bay. My daughter has been using deoderant since age 8
Reply:Whenever they start having profuse body odor..just like a person should start shaving when they start growing hair...
Reply:When they start smelling
Reply:I think that its the parents responsibility to tell their kids about life, and the fact that its time to wear deodorant because they smell
Reply:At anytime when its deemed necessary by there parents. Should they seem to need it by 8 or 9 then you sit them down explain how their body is changing and they are growing, explain when and how to use it. Parents don't be afraid to really talk to your kids that's part of your job to raise them to be good people.
