Whats a good deodorant that hasnt made your shirt yellow in the armpit area??
i was wondering if there is such a deodorant that will prevent yellowing in the pit area of the shirt??? also does it work so my pit area wont seat????

What is the best anti-perspirant/deodorant?
I use secret platinum gel and I love the smell, but it seems every day no matter how much I put on I get HUGE sweat stains under my arms. Even in the winter! It is so embarrasing! I've tried multiple deodorants and they all have the same problem! I really would like a deodorant/anti-perspirant that makes me smell nice and not sweat so much! Please help! Thanks SOOOO Much!

try certain-dri you put it on at night and use your regular deoderant in the morning its really strong so you wont have underarm sweat but it can irritate your skin a little if you use it every night.

i, too, had a problem with underarm odor until i started using Mitchum for men. it's the best product on the market. it comes in gel form, spray, and roll on. i prefer the roll-on because the gel becomes a little bit sticky.

Try a natural salt crystal, they have them at most drugstore, but you may have to look at the top/bottom of the shelf (they are not at eyelevel usually). They work by killing the bacteria which cause the smell. They dont stop sweat, but this is natural, it is unhealthy to clog pores. It is about 6$ and will literally last for over a year. My boyfriend and I both use this, he works in a factory lifting heavy doors all day, and says that this stuff works the best.

Even at the end of the day when he comes home, he still smell good! And don't be scared about it being Old Spice Brand....the Pure Sport scent smells really good and smell nothing like the classic Old Spice Aftershave.

Degree or Dove deodorant?
I've been using Secret deodorant for years, but recently it's not worked as well. I sweat more, but mainly it seems like the stuff wears off and I get body odor. Seems like a lot of people like Degree and Dove, so I was wondering which is stronger and lasts longer.

It will work the same, if not better because it's made for big, sweaty men who stink a hell of a lot more than women. It's why I recommend using mens' shaving cream on your legs instead of the female versions, because it's made for the face, and is therefore likely to be better quality as its an area you see all the time.
You'll just smell a lot more musky, and until your friends get used to it, they'll probably ask who you've been sleeping with or something.
Personally I like Joop and Jeep colognes and deodorants, but hey, I'm not afraid to use a girl's deodorant either. I like having that musky smell with a sweeter undertone of strawberry, which is Strawberry Fields by Evoke.
Makes me smell tasty and sweet. Good thing when you work as a chocolatier.

What can i use to remove these hardened stains (deposits of deodorant) I have washed and washed them but to no avail. They have become unwearable due to these stains.

Once done hang the t-shirts outside in the sun, If the t-shirts are white the sun will bleach them whiter than white and bleach the stain out. If your T-shirts are dark coloured once, Make sure you turn them inside out before hanging them outside in the sun. This way the sun won´t bleach the colour out of them but will still bleach the stain out. It might take a few turns doing this , just depends on how bad the stains are.

Do you put deodorant on before or after you put your top on?
I've tried it both ways and still sometimes manage to get deodorant stains on my shirt. Which do you recommend and why?

I put on my deodorant before putting my top on. I find it awkward and more likely to get deodorant on my shirt if I put my shirt on first. Nevertheless, I still get stains sometimes. It all depends on the deodorant. Good luck!

How to get the smell of deodorant & cologne out of tshirt?
I want to return a shirt to a store. I put it on before going out and sprayed cologne and wore a lot of deodorant. then i decided i didn't like the shirt and ended up changing to another one to go out in. so i now want to return this shirt back to the store however it smells of my cologne and deodorant. i need the new smell back!! thanks

i just returned a shirt today that tore at the seam the first time i wore it...the girl didn't even notice that it had been tailored and there wasn't a tag in it any more. I am 110% sure that the tailoring did not cause the tear. the seam was just too close to the edge of the fabtic. the moral of the story....the clerk probably won't even notice the shirt has cologne on it...will probably think its coming off you.....if there are white deoderant stains...grab a pair of pantyhose from someone and rub the white spots....takes it right off.

Degree or Dove deodorant?
I've been using Secret deodorant for years, but recently it's not worked as well. I sweat more, but mainly it seems like the stuff wears off and I get body odor. Seems like a lot of people like Degree and Dove, so I was wondering which is stronger and lasts longer.

Actually, it doesn't kill the bacteria that causes BO. It just plugs up your pores or whatever so the BO doesn't come out. An antiperspirant is for sweat and a deodorant is for smell.

They had to have surgery, where they cut a nerve or something so those glands dont sweat!

So baseball season starts soon. I need a good deodorant (not antiperspirant) that will last me all through a two hour practice followed by a two/three hour game. I really don't wanna smell during the game, but nothing too strong. Also, I really don't like axe that much.

well im 17 and i used to sweat from my underarms alot, but then i used some deodorant that says its the strongest deodorant without a prescription. it worked for 3-4 weeks. i stopped sweating and everything was good. but then started again last week, even tho im still using it, and its only in school, when i come home not a drop comes out. but right now im thinking it might be stress actually. report cards coming soon and im not doing so good. but i don't feel stressed out thats the thing. and also one time when i was gonna lose in a game i kinda got mad cause my friend screwed me and i started sweating again lol. i dont know can it be from stress even tho im not feeling at all that stressed? cuz its only when im at school and it wont be at all that hot. sorry for the long question gotta put my whole story in lol

Chances are, its your caffiene, green tea or chocolate intake. Diuretics of any kind will cause you to perspire more.
Reply:Some people become tolerant of different things they use. Try a different deodorant that has an anti-perspirant.
Not sure if stress has to do with it. It seems, oddly enough, that it is an anxiety thing.
Have you been to the Doctor about it? Perhaps prescription deodorants or creams could assist.

Thin-materialed clothing will help your skin breathe more easily.
Generally people sweat more around their menstrual cycle as well. This could be a contributor.

Reply:try a different deoderant, your body will adjust to the chemical make up, even same brand different scent sometimes works. Technically the same toothpaste for a period of time will lose its affect over three to four weeks.

Chances are, its your caffiene, green tea or chocolate intake. Diuretics of any kind will cause you to perspire more.

Not sure if stress has to do with it. It seems, oddly enough, that it is an anxiety thing.
Have you been to the Doctor about it? Perhaps prescription deodorants or creams could assist.

Thin-materialed clothing will help your skin breathe more easily.
Generally people sweat more around their menstrual cycle as well. This could be a contributor.

Reply:try a different deoderant, your body will adjust to the chemical make up, even same brand different scent sometimes works. Technically the same toothpaste for a period of time will lose its affect over three to four weeks.

I put Dove deodorant/antiperspirant on a morning, then at school I usually reapply it at lunchtime (but only usually on hot days or when I have gym). My friend's grandma says this will make me smell. Is this true? And if yes, how? Please answer, I'm really confused, thanks in advance xo

You need to buy a roll on solution called 'maxim'. This is applied like a roll-on deoderant, but is very strong stuff that essentially closes up your sweat glands until you wash the stuff off. Read the directions carefully however, you must apply this stuff before you go to sleep at night, as you cannot perspire for a few hours after you put it on or it will render it ineffective. When you wake up you will be sweat free for the entire day, until you wash it off!! This is a true life-saver, and is the only thing that will work (besides the serious surgical correction procedures). Also, if you have sensitive underarm skin like i do, they also offer a sensitive formula (called maxim sensitive.) It is available online through the website below.
p.s. be careful not to apply it right after shaving arm pits or you will feel intense burning! Shave pits in the morning, then apply this stuff that same night. Good luck!

Reply:Well when I usually lose my other ones, I tend to buy dove, because it lasts really long, I mean really long, and if you give it a couple seconds to dry on it doesn't really leave any white marks. And finding it for less than three bucks isn't hard.
But it also depends on if you are allergic to anything in the deodorant. But This would be my recommendation.

I sweat a lot from my underarms. I live in Miami so heat is definetely a factor, but even when i'm just sitting in my room or classroom, my underarms still sweat.

How to Make Your Own Deodorant Spray
Steps
1. Fill your spray bottle about halfway with water.
2. Mix in a bit of baking soda.
3. Keep adding small amounts of baking soda until the mixture is slimy and smooth. The amount you use depends on your water.
4. Add some lavender oil if you want.
5. Shake the bottle gently to mix all the ingredients together.
6. Now you have your own deodorant!
7. To use: Spray on your underarms. Do not rinse.
Tips
* If your deodorant is too watery, and it doesn't feel slippery, just add a bit more baking soda. If it feels grainy, add more water. Don't forget to shake the bottle.
* This deodorant can usually last a day, depending on your activities. You may need to use more or less.
* If you get any white stains from applying too much, relax: just rinse out with water.

Steps
1. Fill your spray bottle about halfway with water.
2. Mix in a bit of baking soda.
3. Keep adding small amounts of baking soda until the mixture is slimy and smooth. The amount you use depends on your water.
4. Add some lavender oil if you want.
5. Shake the bottle gently to mix all the ingredients together.
6. Now you have your own deodorant!
7. To use: Spray on your underarms. Do not rinse.
Tips
* If your deodorant is too watery, and it doesn't feel slippery, just add a bit more baking soda. If it feels grainy, add more water. Don't forget to shake the bottle.
* This deodorant can usually last a day, depending on your activities. You may need to use more or less.
* If you get any white stains from applying too much, relax: just rinse out with water.
Warnings
* Use only as much as you need! Too much baking soda may cause irritation or stains. You should start out with a bit to use and increase the amount of deodorant you use if necessary.

This way it doesn't blend or cover up the smell of my cologne, body spray, etc.
it's also very strong and works great, so I don't have to worry about sweaty pits or odor at all.

Right Gaurd works good, and you don't even smell like a man or anything.

Degree claims to be "little black dress approved". Dove has a new "ultimate clear." Yet all brands I've tried still leave white residue on clothes, particularly camisoles. I need a solid deodorant that actually goes on clear. I don't want a gel.
Something like Old Spice for men. Except for women. It's a solid that's translucent and therefore goes on clear and stays on clear. Why don't they make those for women?

May I recommend the Nivea brand. It is the product that I personally use. Try the Nivea Pearl Beauty. It is clear and does not leave that irritating white stain; it has no alcohol, colorants or reservation in the ingredient, offers 24 hours protection and of course smells pleasant :-). It is also available in roll on. Another great product by Nivea is the Pure Invisible. The name it’s self says it all. I recommend the spray- it dry without leaving any residue.

When can you start giving kids deodorant?
the other day i was on the bus and like 20 7-9 year olds got on, omg they smelled horrible!!!!! if they were wearing deodorant then i dont think that they would smell.... have u noticed that kids that age smell funny???? at what age is it ok to have then use deodorant on an daily basis????

We need to encourage, not belittle them!
